I am just wondering what you guys will think it will be and why. Personally, my money is on the Invincisin, because it can tank anything that doesn't either remove enchants with a skill or cause massive conditions.

Now that's a challenge! too bad I'm still at only 75% at NF with my war or maybe even less..too bad I'm freaking busy with my exams.

btw: The warrior will be able to solo it first (hope so^^)

due to the balanced nature of the monster groups (warriors, monks, eles, rangers, etc) i dont think it will be possible for any one class to solo a whole 1/4 of DoA. however, i do believe a 2 or 3 man team may be able to do 1/4 or even more. but these builds probably wont come out until after the skill "balance".

I was wondering, could an E/Me using Obsidian Flesh, Stoneflesh Aura, Armor of Earth, Sliver Armor, Arcane Echo, Stone Striker, Mantra of Earth, and Aura of Restoration or Glyph of Restoration be able to solo any part of gloom or another area?

EH?? Sins are well valued now? Nice

Um In stygian Viel, when they cut the Soh time in the weekend, I was able to take down the Shadow Aarmy in Stygian. It was because they down timed Soh that Sins did not need to cancel Soh, So I was like hell yes... A-net you just made my day. I basicly used d tombs build, but I replaced DE withe BoS. Unfortunately though, when I took the quest and those Hungers came, I didnt know that they had touch skills... so I ran to them and came out dead. I couldnt escape at the first sign of Touching, cus I ddint have DE. I'm sorry I do not have proof of this cus i forgot to take pixs, but believe me or not, Shadow Monks were easy prey thanks to BoS. I was hoping that Soh would still have that downtime so I could try it out again after I got home from school, but sigh no it doesnt. I am guessing though that perhaps the W/Rt build or the Rit build that Wittie used in Urgoz Warren can take Sygien down. Well So far thats what I was upto in the weekend.

I'm betting a monk or elementalist will be first, although warrior stands a chance.

The problem with warrior is that the damage is just so friggin high, 600ish on a caster. That being said, there are also hexes and conditions that kill.
Sins, shadow form may look good, but looking at the skills and quests, it just doesn't look like it will work. The margonite dervishes have that wind prayers AoE skill, 200 damage. The stygians have choking gas and touch skills. And the ravenheart gloom quest requires you to keep some NPCs alive, so you have 40 seconds to kill 10 enemies, not enough. That being said, there are two other ways of gaing permanent immunity to spells, obsidian flesh and spell breaker, both of which can be chained indefinitely through QZ (the enemies use). Working on something with my ele for torc'qua.

maybe 1/4th was too big a requirment ( god i hate spelling that word). Anyways, Witte your W/Rt build can farm almost anything, but i have to agree with Why Me in that the damage will overpower VwK. Anyway, I was looking at the Wiki and at some of the monsters, it seems like Torc'qua will be the first to be soloed, followed by Gloom.

Also, the likely skills to be use the first build are spell breaker, obsidian flaesh, or Vow of Silence.

Later tonight I'm gonna try out the build I posted (since I finally capped Obsidian Flesh on my ele), and I'll let you all know how it goes.

Well...I don't see Vow being well-used in DoA...it won't stop any actual physical damage unless you run heavy enchants + maybe conviction for +armor.

A warrior cant solo DoA
Btw there is another melee class that can solo the entire DoA...

The Sin

There are only 2 thing that can kill a Sin during the famous Shadow Form:
1- AoE damage (but they still cant cast skill on u, so its not a problem, only wurms can damage you when they pop up, 30 damage rofl.)
2- Touch skills (i didnt c touchers in DoA)

U'll be able to solo DoA with the "Solo tombs Sin style" build, of course.

@RebelHero:
The point is to speculate about which profession will be the first to completely solo one part or more of the DoA. The N/A (love it, btw) can't solo the entire veil

Problem is for eles, there are healers that need to be killed which can be difficult with a random killing skill such as Sliver Armour. Also, once you kill the rangers, you wont have QZ any more...

Then you can easily farm the rest
The only things a Sin cant solo are the touchers.
So the veil maybe cant be done, but if u inflict posion+bleed+deep wound and run away
until they die, u still can do it.
Touch skills ignore armor and shadow form, so can be hard.
