I've been saving up for a while for FoW, but it's going slowly, and by my standards: WAY to slowly. I'm on the American Servers, but we don't get favor until late night. During the week, I don't have that much time to play, as most of it is consumed by homework. On the weekend, I try to do as much UW as possible, but we still don't get favor that often.

I guess what I'm asking is should I switch to the European servers? They have favor amost always when I can play. Or is there another way to make money quickly without switching servers?

farm farm farm!!!!every class can farm somewheres so find a place you like. (i recomend farming dinjin with a dervish and sell all the rubies and such u salvage)

Green farming makes VERY good money too, if you farm greenies worth 40 and with a high drop rate...well do the math yourself.

It is pretty tough to farm enough to get ectos when Favor only comes as late at night as it does for us Americans. You can switch servers and then switch back a limited number of times, so that is a valid option, but green farming might be something to consider as well, even though it is less reliable than ecto farming imo.

Power Trading can be profitable, but one bad trade can really put a hurting on you. The prices in many high value items does tend to fluctuate by a couple ectos so it is possible to sometimes get a good deal and resell for some profit, but in my experience, most people ask for prices that are way to high on everything anyways. Also, considering how long you have to spam or wait for an auction, it may at times be more efficient (and/or more fun) then to just farm.

Or is there another way to make money quickly without switching servers? iwas in american servers for abouyt a year ( im english), and the onyl time i could farm WU/FOW was at weekend mornigns about 6am-9am till europ niked favour, man it took me 2 months to get about 10 ectos, it was hell. then i left my americna guild and went to europe, got favour all the tiem for me, and well got enought ectos i n2 months and enought shards in 1.5 months. so unless u only have one or 2 swaps left. id swap over for a bit, then swap back after

I got my first by power trading, and mostly farming. However I guess I kind of cheated, I still had 400k+ from the first market reset.

You could always farm Kirins outside Maatu Keep for about 50hours constantly

~1k per run with the occasional decent drop, it'd add up over time.

Grasping.... ANYONE who farms enough to make 300k-1mil a day either needs to get a life or move out of there parents house. That or stop exaggerating.

I agree with evilsod. I just got my second set of fow, (non of it ebayed) and i just basically farmed the kirin and undergrowths outside of matuu. I farm 10k, take a break for an hour or so, go back, another 10k stop. If you get lucky u might get a black dye or a ruby or saphire. Plus they drops golds every now and then which are pretty decent at times. Do this a few times a day and ull get it in about a month. If your mainly pve you can probably get it faster. I pvp more than pve so it took me a little more than a month to get. Keep at it though and youll eventually get it. Good luck

try to do some gemstone farming in DoA... else the power trade is the only way... farm over 1.2 millions is long in normal ways...

You just have to know what to farm to get the ($.$)
What i have done the last 3 weeks is titan gem farming and i managed to get 4 FoW armors out of it. Just have to be at the right place at the right time. It can take you hrs or just mins. But now the drop rate has been reduced a lot, so its time to farm somewere else.

I just farm Minotaurs outside Elona Reach, get Black Dyes every 5 runs, rest is merch food and Power Trade. Never wanted a FoW set of armor, honestly. All of them (except for the non-core professions) look very ugly for my taste and the foreign armor is much cooler, better, and cheaper. But, if you do want to farm for FoW armor, use your favorite char and make them do all the farming. As said before, every class can farm for very high profits.

Green farming FTW, i make about 100-200k/h.
I drop items that wort 20-50k then i go on www.gwshop.net to sell my items without wasting (this is a french site, and as I am french, it is very usefull. I think they are equivalents for English ppls but i usually sell my items in 1-3 days)
IMO it is still the best solution, since you can make huge tons of money in one day. (u can get 1200k in on week easily)
