Heroes can't run through portals, so the only way they can help you is by fighting or holding the enemy's attention. But you would have to be the one to go through the portal.

Ace are you low lvl ? like really low?
If you got your heroes at max lvl they can easily fight to droks, i do that sometime with guildies just for the fun of it, i even did it once with the henchies

Gah, that must have been a nightmare. I can't even reach the bottom of Lornar's Pass with henchies, even as a lvl 20. I can almost make it halfway before 60%DP makes it a chore to kill everything.

Few days ago my guilds allies were talking about their heroes being able to take them to droks... i wanted to join the conversation but i was jus a member, not an officer so i couldnt get my hands on how can u get to droks with ur heroes.

Im not in my max lvl yet so im not thinking about going to droks for a while... but would really like to get some facts about this heroes to droks thing. some ppl say u cant make it to droks with heroes and some ppl that i kno said that u can... im confused so thats why this i had to ask this question->

For those who did make it to droks with ur heroes, how did u do it?

IMO, Your guildies didn't mean the heroes ran them. They meant they fought their way there using heroes instead of henchmen.

If a solo warrior can make the trip then a warrior + 3 heroes can as well.

What do you mean by this? Alliance Chat is open to everyone, has been for a really long time.

That was my bad... im an on and off kinda guy and dont pay attention to updates. I play other games, not jus gw.

But anyways i guess it is possible to make it to droks with Heroes even if u have to fight ur way thru. but im hoping to try this once i get myself and my heroes to the max lvl.

I made it to droks with heroes and henchies - fighting of cource, not running - no real trick to it - just take it slow and don't agro too many at a time. Use the henchies as cannon fodder - they aren't much good for anything else. I think I died twice but there was enough killing to earn back the dp without much trouble. I already had max armor from factions and lvl 20 heroes with runes and insignia, though. I wouldn't try it with the stuff you can buy in prophecies up to that point. I'm not sure its really worth the trouble. It takes quite a chunk of time and it's not that expensive to find someone to run you there.

not just dorks, but any where in the game. with a good set of heros you can get any where you want in any chapter. just take it slow and watch you moves.

The new controls make it even easier to Hero and Hench the entire game. Difficult areas that are better cleared with team splits are no longer difficult. There is no area or mission that can't be done with Heros and/or Hench only.

The fact that heros are better than hench is not what makes it easier to hero/henchway the game. It is the controls that came along with heros that also can be partially used with Hench.

For instance: You can split your party by telling Heros to fight one group and have your hench protect another area. This flexibility makes Prophecies almost too easy. It also completely removes the need to ever PUG if you don't want to. I'm not an advocate of isolationism but it is an option for some and options are always good.
