How much "give" is there on the elona explorer title?

I just completed my elona explorer. As I finished, I notice a fairly substantial amount of unexplored area left and thought it might be worth it to some people to see exactly how much give there is in the title. I would estimate the amount of uncleared space to be at least 0.5%, not counting any other space I missed in other zones (such as noob island starter quests).

As an FYI, it took about 15 hours to go from low 30s to 100%. This toon is tyrian born but had already beaten the game. I found elona much easier to explore than other continents. I believe this is the easiest title to max after the protectors.

Enjoy!

I've mapped 100% Elonian on more than one character and found the leeway to be about another 2-3%, less than the other campaigns.

I hadn't the opportunity to map the the Elonian tutorial area on some due Prophecies/Factions characters; however, every time I was at 98.5-99.1% before finishing the titles out with the Remains of Sahlahja challenge mission, in which case I didn't map half of that before getting the 100%.

I did find that by just doing the missions/quests, it gave about 80%, which is far easier to get to than the other 2 campaigns...

I have EGMC on my Tyrian Warrior, and I'm pretty sure I have less than 2 or 3 percent leeway. I tried to be as meticulous as possible when doing map compares and difference mapping, and I don't think I have even 1% left to uncover. (With the exception of the Elonian starting area on the newbie island which I estimate is about .3%)

More leeway than the other 2 games, thats for sure. I was able to get EGMC just by wallhugging my first time through every zone, except I missed a bit behind that giant crag hammer boss. I didn't need the Chantry exclusive area or the arena for it.

I've gotten that on 2 Elonian characters so far. You may get more by scraping the walls.

i think the best way to get mapping to 100% is the photoshop method where i can easily spot all the tiny unexplored areas

it makes mapping a breeze!!!

I think Elona is easier to map because there are few (or none) areas that are difficult to uncover. In Tyria, there are spots you have to run over many times and really push your nose into the wall before the fog lifts. Also, there are no huge zones like snakedance. I respect Tyrian explorers more than any other kind...

Elona is easy to map for several reasons. First of all, most of the borders are covered by permafog, so you don't actually have to hug the wall to defog everything in those areas. Second, monster density is much lower so exploration usually requires very little fighting.

Tyria was by far the hardest for any number of reasons (size, detail, strict borders, etc.), but it also had the most amount of leeway - GMC is possible even while missing an entire explorable area.

Tyria has more leeway because of the people that did not get the arenas before they created the battle isles.
