Petition-Alliance Announcements.

Recently my Guild has Formed an Alliance, and we are trying to get
events, Competitions etc going, we have a forum, but not every alliance member uses it, we tell guild leaders to put an announcement up on there guild announcement, but alot of them dont have the room for new info,
So I was thinking about Alliance Announcement, the leader of the Alliance puts up a message in the Alliance Announcement Tab on the guild menu, and every guild in that alliance can see it when they log on, same as the guild announcement, but every guild.

so, please put /signed if your with me and would like to see this change.

and please put /notsigned if you think this isnt going to work for what ever reason.

Ok, for the Question, the alliance leader will only be allowed to change it, other wise people will just abuse it, changing it all the time, like Emik said, it will become a mess

sounds great, my only question is this:

would it be for the alliance leader only or for all the guild leaders, like guild announcments can be made my all guild officers?

I do think it's going to be best if you allow leaders only to change it.
Otherwise it's going to become a mess.

Trying to get in touch with certain guilds within my Alliance when we live in different time zones is difficult.

This would make it so much easier.

This is a great and much needed idea for the Alliances to function. Only the alliance leader should be able to use this function IMHO.

/signed, with the proviso that the leaders of every guild in the alliance should be able to edit it. Do you really think having nine people would result in an overedited mess? More people than that can edit most guild announcements, and they work fine.

All the leaders should be able to edit it. Possibly even show a line or two from each leader specifically.
