Problems with the event

As if it's not already stupid that every event only happens every 3 hours or so, making it already difficult to be present at an event, the higher district didn't get anything.

Now i've gotta wait another 3 hours and I can't do that, so no hats. How difficult can it be to have the event constantly or at least every five or ten minutes instead of every 3 hours...

Higher dist got nothing? Hmm I was just in LA dist99 american server and I got 15 pressies and some antlers..

Don't get so angry about it, there will be 7 visitings, and you need 4 max. you can afford to miss some dude...

Could be anti afk measures. Sort of like "do nothing, get nothing".

Hell, but i was present, I was in kamadan district 37, and the gods never came there. I warped to district 23 and presents were lying all over the floor, so the event had ended there, i immidiately warped back to 37 and still no gods there. Waited for half an hour after is supposedly started, they never came.

That's also one of my problems, and I bet there are more people with me on this one, I don't have the time to wait all day for the hats to come only every 3 hours. Why can't they come every 10 minutes or so. This is just lame.

oh well.. nothing is perfect... and many people i saw were excited about the new helms. *shrug* I think they did a fine a job and it was an overall success.

I had a friend get nothing during the first event. The second event he managed to district hop and get all 4 hats during that one event. Also - I was generally in the highest district and received a hat every time, even when district hopping during the second event.

yeah relax, its just a hat anyway, not some uber leet useable Green rare item only available now...

Did you even read my post, I'm not complaining about the hats, I'm complaining about the fact that the event is bugged and the gods never even came at my district, and the fact that you need to wait 3 hours every time, which is time a lot of people don't have.

No the cmmon thought is that districts that weren't open alive and active when the event started missed out on the event.

100 people suddenly zoning to LA would create a few extra instances.
But if there created after the event has started, they miss out, or that what the general idea is

but [DemoniC][EVL] you should take a chill pill, yes it a problem, yes it a issue. But posting about in such a manner isn't going to get alot of decent answers. And I'm sure all the extra stress isn't healthy.

Just next time get there early and try for a lower dist, good luck.

P.S. It won't help you this time, Anet isn't going to roll back the event now, nor will they supply event hats after the fact. But they can prevent this from happening next time

Very easy to tell the op to chill out when you got your hats, eh? Try putting yourself in the op's situation. Its hard enough for some people that Anet is only giving 9 visits in a 24 hour period. Getting stiffed on two visits is icing on the cake. ANet needs to do something to ammend this. Extending the event by a few visits or making the visits more frequent would be ideal. I would guess that some people have other things going on and can't dedicate 12 hours of their day sitting in front of their computer to get the 4 event hats.

No problem with this event. And finally we can get some nice armor in Elona.

I've seen this happen beofore some of the districts do get "skipped" and if you just get there during the time theyre supposed to come it's rather evil ;/
you won't get the hat and with the time you wait the others will most likely end....

i understand that [evil] is pissed just because he had 1 chance to attent to the hat event. (read his first message)

but chin up fellah hopefully you can make some time today for another event :|

but on a sidenote this is very meager for a finish event, i recall most being more fun then just standing on rings -_-

Kamadan 60 and up had no event.

Demonic chill.....If you have a friend that got the hat simply copy it. I don't know if it will copy the customization as well but its worth a shot.

I was here so I got absolutely nothing from this even except for the treasure chest runs which only 2 characters were far into the game to collect.

Events are for people that have nothing to do for people like us that have real life obligations just move on and don't worry about it.

Hats are customized. You can't copy them and give them to somebody else. So no, it's not worth a shot.

have to be there before the avatar appears. you could get one hat in LA then go to kamadan and get another, and come back in 3 hours to get the other two. hats can only be copied from other char from same account tho.

There were some bugs in the event not related to Avatar spawns(afaik). From what I could tell, the party menu in districts above 25ish(I obviously didn't visit all these districts) was completely blank. to find a party menu that wasn't, I usually had to let the comp auto select a lower district.

But that's just my two cents

I think I was actually in dis 78 the first round and I got zip, but it was ok because I got to spend an hour or so talking to some people even though I was kind of mad that I didn't get the hat, but most likely A-Net will extend the event because they know they messed up. And if not it's not the end of the world. I missed the original tengu day even though I had all the naga fangs and because A-Net decided to end it like 20 minutes early, but I have to deal with it it's not like you will be at any imbalance in GW if you don't get a couple hats. I also missed the Dragon event, but that was because of vacation.


p.s. I want my dragon mask...
