I was a huge fan of the mod farming outside of Yak's... With my Whammo but a little while back they nerfed the drop rate... This really angered me .... Does anyone know where the next best place would be to mod farm/CR for mods besides the obvious UW and FoW?....

any low level place that drop gold items i'd suggest gates of kryta, go behind the house. lots of dyes and orr emblems as well

I'd say Sanctum Cay. Was doing the bonus with a guildy here for my protector title, and we had two gold items drop. Including a +30hp sword pommel.

Yeah I tried the Yak's run a month ago or so and the gold drop rate there was lower than before I had alot of good +30 mods there, but I rarely get them from a salvage ^_^

Undead are always cool to farm for mods..ive gotten 30hp bow grip there also lots of other boring mods

Yep, but it's hard to find other weapons than bows. Rarely there drops an Sephis Axe.

I am a new player in this game. Started with necro
A friend told me about 55'ing with SS i thought it's cool after 3 days no more it got nerfed.
I had no money for longtime.. then i read here about 135 monk farming ice imps i made a monk. started farming there but it's pointless bad drops and now there's necros mobs there would kill me with suffering..
I read about the solo boss dervish farming Nightbringer for the staff made my dervish 2 days after that nightbringer boss disappeared..
I can't find him anymore..
Dunno but so i far i think the only way to enjoy this game is to ebay your money..
I am not planning to play for 10+ hours each day farming FoW or UW to get an ecto or shard or nothing..

Nightringer can be farmed with a 55 Spoil Victor Necro...

There's a lot of other bosses + mobs you can solo with the dervish. Valhen the Silent might be an example. Nightbringer is now in Floodplain of Mahnkelon, northeast of Kondur Crossroads.

Mind me asking how we got from a person asking where to farm mods to killing a guy who drops a staf? O.o... Anyway...

I usually get +30 bow grips from the Drakes at the beggining of the Cay mission. Their also really easy to kill, nice quick runs.
