good jobhow do you suggest working this in UW? it'd be too slow with a sword and IW killing ataxe, but if you go with a scythe you still have 105 HP, meaning you're still going to take 5 damage per attack with no regen.... I'm confused now.
however, if you were into going slow, and only got 1 nightmare to pop at a time, this might work.....

Not true, but you have to be FAST FAST FAST. You can power return one of them while you wand the other to death...you need to start wanding the second one that spawns ASAP and be ready to power return the first one at the last possible moment (it will probably be right before you kill the 2nd one). It really isn't too bad once you get used to it.
All in all, good build. I have used a variation of the 55 IW mes build for a while and I would say that in the UW you do NOT need both AV and SV if you go as mes primary (maybe not as a monk either). If you make sure to precast SV before aggoring aatxes and then DON'T attack them right away you can easily stop all bleeding and all you have to deal with is their attacks (you have to recast SV as soon as you can when it is rdy or they will bleed you). On the other hand, when fighting against grasps, you need to again precast and then you can attack right away, but wait until they all use their distracting blow before recasting it (as a monk primary they should have all used it a few seconds before your SV is rdy anyway).
Also, a note on killing coldfires. They are easy to kill but don't waste energy on SV/AV because their attacks don't trigger it anyway (I know you meant that the smites would trigger it and drain the coldfire's energy). Just kill the smites away from the coldfires and then go kill the coldfires in their small groups of 2-3...they are weak by themselves.
Also, you *should* be able to kill the obsidian behemoths with this setup as well (and the dryders if you are careful).

In UW it works great, but the problem in FoW is. That when you only have like 3 or 2 guys left you're having serious energy problems. constant casting ignorance and all the others. You will have to take them to a next group but it's certainly not easy. About the mesmer, they're easy, I was suprised that I managed first try. All the degen might scare you but stay focused and you should be fine. Can't say it to many times: awesome build. Especially like it in UW cause you can clear almost anything.
