(Wintersday) GAMER TITLES! Progress?!

HEY HEY HEY!!

I MADE IT! Got first rank of Gamer Title: Skillz!!! Took me 2 nights and a couple hours here and there, of nonstop snowball. It got me 300 Candy Cane Shards total. Here are some pics of a DA STUFFS!



Yes yes, i had tons of down time, done with Christmas shopping, and wrapping and already off work. So what to do till i travel for the holiday? Play nonstop SNOWBALL FIGHTS~!! Har Har.

***SO!! Since i have made it in just over 2 days, i am assuming other hardcore nutcases like me have started reaching titles, i want yall to post em~!! And start posting that progress to the NEXT ranks! I'm sad cause i wont have time to work past rank 1. But uh...rank 2 is way too far away anyway. LOL~!~

i applaude the tenacity and anti-psychotics that a person would have to be on to get this title faster OR higher rank... LOLzzzz BTW, i see on GuildWiki that they have posted the names and required points for Rank 2 and 3. So this means people have gotten there? I really am intersted to see if someone has really already gotten that far! hehe.

***Disclaimer: Yes i do realize the irony of me posting this, after posting an (objective) thread about the imbalance issues in the Snowball Arena. But, as i said in that thread just cause it was imbalanced doesn't mean i couldn't have fun! My last win streak was 28 ... 25 of the games was as the GRENTH team! I was with some german guys who played like pros! Thanks you guys!

Gamer is earned by winning points in Festival Games like the Snowball Arena. It is tied to your account, not any character in particular.
Gamer Points needed:

Skillz 1000
Pro Skillz 2000
Numchuck Skillz 4000
? ?

So you need to win 400 matches to get rank 3.

ya i saw on wiki it was 'L33T Skills' but thought it might of been a joke :P im on 670 il get the rest tonight.

Btw what's a good place for some nice snowball fights? I played at Lions Arch, but that's one big missary, full of people who don't know how to play and the average win there is insanely low. I did loads of rounds (around 35+) and won 5 times because full of leavers, afk people, laggers, and lots more. Not that I blame them, but not quite funny. I farmed 30 times more CC then I won with the Arena.

All snowball Arenas are linked together, from all towns, so no matter where you go you enter the same Snowball fight.

Get use to it.

Besides the the Arena isn't just about getting shards

The Snowball arena was made for fun not seriousness. And of course there will be people who don't know how to play since a lot of them were not here for the last Wintersday. Plus connection problems always haunt Guild Wars.

That has to be the silliest title ever. And not in a good way.

well that skillz title will probably be used in amusings ways e.g. a wammo with mending and that title or using frenzy+heal sig.

Lol, well At least I know what exactly I have to do with those presents and how to steal them and make good use of cripple. If more people knew it I had a little more chance.

Anyways, it's not about the Shard for me, I was just wondering if I could get the title.

I agree - I would love to get the title, but "Skillz" does nothing for me as a word.

I would have personally loved it if they called it something like "Snowball Master" or "King of the Festival Arena" or something along those lines, instead of using a stupid online gamer word that most of us simply shake our head at when someone uses it, like Pwn or n00b.

I seem to be getting a lot of Balthazar Faction from the snowball fights. Unfortunately, I can't say the same of candy cane shards. >.<

is this skillz worth getting? Also where is the title noskillz?

Btw, Its not just about the title or the shards. Snowball arenas is meant to have some fun so get over it. Have some patience and eventually you'll get into a decent team.
