Wintergreen Candy Canes only take off 15% of DP, I guess the old ones will be worth even more now.

A bunch of quests in LA and a couple in Kamadan.

Yuletide tonic requres a trade of frozen ectoplasm. No clue where those drop or how to get them. There is a tonic maker in Kamadan.

Haven't seen a Rainbow candy cane for trade, but people are running around screaming for coal and looking for a Vanguard Guy in Ascalon.

That is my quick 20 minute tour of the four cities. Still no clue what the 3x3 are and there are no grinches or children to give gifts too in Ascalon.

The best guess is that the 'Snowball fights in the Underworld' mentioned on the events page are/will be the source of frozen ectos. I don't think anyone has found this yet, so it's probably coming in another update.

i guss the frozen ecto drops in the frozen new underworld ><

Here's a brief list of collectors that I made, maybe it'll help people:
(all collectors have eggnog/spiked eggnog and all have fruitcake, snowmen and wintergreen candy canes)


Droknars - dredge manifesto (1) [spiked], frozen remnant (1) [eggnog], frigid heart (2) [spiked], summit badges (3) [eggnog]

Ascalon - stormy eyes (2) [spiked], charr carvings (3) [eggnog], singed gargoyle skulls (2) [spiked], grawl necklaces (2) [eggnog]

Lion's Arch - shadowy remnant (1) [eggnog], caromi scalps (2) [spiked], hardened humps (2) [spiked], decayed orr emblems (3) [eggnog]

Khamadan - sentient roots (3) [spiked], copper shillings (3) [spiked], frozen glob of ecto (1) (yuletide tonic), juvenile termite legs (3) [eggnog]

wintergreen candy canes remove 15% dp. likely rainbow candy canes (not in) remove full dp.

ive read a forum and they said if you salvage the frozen ectos,it will be ectos.

If you've read MY forum, you'd know that if you give Gwen 1 ecto in pre-searing, she'll give you 20 Ruby, 20 Sapphire and 20 Diamond too.

Well according to the events page on the GW website, it looks like the regular candy cane won't be available. Oh well. The green ones are still useful, but I'm not that excited for them now. I guess I'll get a stack of 250 snowman summoners and just wait for the hats.
