In broader terms, Guild Wars is extremely close to being our favorite MMO ever due to its enlightened approach to the genre. The attention that ArenaNet pays to the game's PvP experience would be embraced by the industry at large in a perfect world, and its ability to offer such a stellar product without charging a monthly subscription is nothing short of revolutionary. If subsequent expansions reflect the level of quality we saw in Factions and Nightfall, then ArenaNet's model will be viable indeed.
Congrats, ANet!

Back on topic, congrats to Anet. As per usual, Anet has done a wonderful job of continually improving on a product that was excellent out of the gate.
Let's see, I've paid $210 for 3 collector's sets, $60 for 2 regular versions. I've played about 2,000 hours between the two accounts. That makes $270/2000 = $0.135, or 13 1/2 cents per hour played. Best bargain in gaming.
So all of you complainers, look around and see if there is anything else in life that gives you better entertainment for 13 cents an hour...
/applaud

If you don't like what I have to say then don't reply.
Otherwise, when I see GOTY across the board it'll matter. Until then its a GOTY from Game Spy out of all places.
