I decided to get my warrior the primeval armor, so 1st time I beat Abaddon it turned out I forgot to take money and materials, second time I only took money with me and forgot to take materials, finally I was able to buy the armor on my 3rd try... I don't know why they won't make it as a mappable location to those who beat the game already.

That's the most recent I remember.

Biggest mistake? Probably the first time I learned how weapon swapping makes you drop the flag...

I entered PVP with my warrior and died within seconds. Later I noticed - that in changing some stuff around - I had neglected to equip a shield.

Same happened to me... the worst thing is, the boss I went after was Maw The Mountain Heart...

Another stupid mistake of mine was getting a Black Dye drop... and I forgot to pick it up -.- (was doing Sunjiang District with Henchies)

Heh I went out with my mesmer in Unwaking Waters to cap both a mesmer and an ele elite in one 'efficient' run. When I used the cap signet on that ele saltspray dragon and it showed no skills I realized I had forgotton to switch my secondary back from /Mo to /E. doh

I went into a mission in Chapter 1 a year and a half ago with my Elementalist using fire skills but my attributes were all in Air from PvP.

When I first started I got a free FDS. I was amazed with it I mean it was nearly max and only req. 11! I was very happy with it thinking I was starting out great in the game.. until I accidentally merch'd it. I learned from then on to be much more careful and never have done anything like that again whether I'm buying or selling.

Yeah, I got really lucky selling prized garbage but at the time it was.. kind of a big deal.

My worst two are not that bad really:

When Sorrow's Furnace was just opened, people were simply swapping greens with each other. My very first drop was Brohn's Staff. Playing a Ranger, I really wanted one of the new green bows, so I swapped it for "The Stinger".. Do'h!

Secondly, I once merchanted a small pile of about 8 ectos.. I had had several successful runs in UW one evening and had not bothered putting them into storage.

The worst mistake I know of though was my son, who just after the release of Factions, decided to put his Kuunavang on a PVP char for some unknown reason, and then deleted the char!

Deleting my favouritest character ever by accident. Took 5 seconds and 250 hours work was gone. Every elite from prophecies and factions, dragos flatbow, a green zealous and a grean vampiric bow, even kanaxais maul for pve bunny thumper. Pet spider as well. I was so sad, and have never enjoyed GW as much since...

That is sad...however, there is the is whole thing where you have to consciously type their name in, and hit delete so yea, thats pretty hard to do on 'accident.'

Fighting a pack of Jade Armors with an uninfused survivor mes.

Fighting the Discord boss (for skillcap #90) with 7 henchies and no prot-spirit as a 1.2M exp survivor mes.

At least I got the title on the second try. >_<

After accidently merching some Shards, I now keep a Non-Merchable item in the first slot of my last bag, & put all valuables behind it. That way I will not be able to lag sell anything I wanna keep.

Besides having sold stuff to the merch that I didn't mean to, I've gone into the Random Arena with my attributes misassigned once... The end of the second win I left my team, because who can monk with 4 healing prayers, really?

Also, I accidently took Elonian Leather instead of Fur for my Ranger Primeval armor, that was an annoying mistake. I didn't inform a guildmate about the worth of his Bone Dragon, and he sold it for 20k, that's not my fault but still ouch! I deleted my level 20 Rt (with a superior restoration rune) two days after Factions was released, because it was using a name that I had used for PVP only characters and by the time I realized it I had already typed the name and deleted the character (of course then I noticed I had Birthday Presents, sold those for enough to more than recoup any money lost then).

Joined a new guild on an old friend's invite. One of the first "let's go out and get to know each other" things we did was take my necro up from Rankor to cap FoC. I hadn't gotten around to charging up there by myself yet, but I knew you had to be careful because if he died underground you couldn't use the cap.

We fight our way up there, bs'ing and having a grand old time. I'm just in hog heaven smiling and thinking, "Yeah! I think I can have a good time with this crew!" Totally forgot to mention to any of them the warning not to let him die underground.

What a great first impression - Hi! I know something really critical to our task, and I won't bother to mention it! The guys were way cool about it, and we did it over. I felt more dumb for that one than any merchant mishaps though.

Second place for me is taking friends out to The Falls as the map expert. No matter how many times I go, even though I know it's there and practically invisible at first, I still always have to run around in a few circles finding that tree bridge.
