pure sin means that all of you sin skills will be alot stronger than if you spread your attributes all over. some secondaries are useful though.
ele-shock
warrior-shove, wild blow, burst of aggresion
ranger-apply poison (dont recommend it)
monk-vigorous spirit, mending touch
necro-plauge touch
cant think of any more at the moment

yeah I mean arrogant(but hey that was 11:30 last night and I had a rough day). I didn't try to "hurt" you I wanted you to think and be a positive giver to this forum and help those that dont know much about the game. You know its people like you that some of my friends hate this forum. Everytime they come here for help they get called things like a noob and get flamed.
I found that Ele, and Warrior have some good Defensive, Exp: Bonnetties Defense, skills for fist time Assassins, later on the Ele has some nice stuff to add to combos, if you check out the Yanssassin, you'll find a superior killing combo using Shock, and Necro has thier all time best skill Plague touch, which for melee char is one of the best skills out there.

My first post in this thread was not meant to hurt at all.
He asks a question, I answer it. What I meant is that by playing assassin, he will eventually learn it himself.
Give people a fish, they eat for a day. Learn people how to fish, they eat for a lifetime.

I'll assume you mean for PvE.
In some cases, I am fond of the Assassin/Mesmer combination, for some of the excellent Mesmer stances that offer defense (and sometimes limited offense, in the case of [wiki]Hex Breaker[/wiki]) for a very low amount of attribute placement. One would of course use different stances for different areas, based upon the enemy forces that populate the area.
However usually, especially as of late, I completely ignore the fact that I even have a secondary profession, and have been running a bar full of Assassin skills.

P
I've used the following combos:
A/Mo - started - good uses: long lasting enchantments, mend ailment, hard rez, remove hex
A/N - changed from A/Mo - good uses: long lasting hexes, plague touch
A/W - changed from A/N - wild blow, tactics
A/Me - will be changing from A/W - hex removals, fragility, fevered dreams/epidemic
Signet of Malice takes care of conditions, my assassin finally got long lasting hexes and enchantments, so I didn't need to be /Mo or /N anymore.
This has been my experiences so far. I'm probably short sighted in my uses though.
