New to Necromancers [PVE]

Hey, before I start I want to apologize if this question has been asked before but the search function isn't working for me.

Anyway, I just made a new necromancer [N/ME] and was building towards the SS Nuker build listed on guildwiki, but then I found out about the minion master and alot of questions and doubts just sprung up.
I now want to know which is the most effective for PVE + farming like ettins for example. Any builds / ideas etc most welcome and Thank you!

When asking something as simple as this, you can fully utilize the Search option. The "New to ... Please help!" threads only make sense when there is something specific you are asking that there isn't tons of information and opinions on. To answer your question as accurately as possible: you can be as effective running SS, as running MM. Sometimes it depends on the area, most of the time it depends on preference. You can farm just fine with either.

In the beginning don't worry about what your building too. You can change your build easily in Guild Wars. You've already looked into this a bit judging by looking up the SS in GWiki. It's easiest to play as a support character mid/backline but you can play mid/front also.
GL and welcome to playing Necromancer. You can do almost any build imaginable with them, not just SS, MM, or BiP.

Thank you nebuch and Hella.. My knowledge of necros is v. low since I'm used to ele and rangers. I'm erm level 13 ish atm and currently still very stuck in between MM and SS and I can't really try out other builds because I want a goal when I reach level 20 [if you know what I'm getting at]. Still, if anyone can give tips or an effective pve build which they're currently using then that would be great.
