Two Store Events

Hi, there,

I wanted to let you know about two events coming up this week:

The first is the store offering special prices on Guild Wars games, and they'll have some free signed copies of a trial CD for Prophecies and Factions and a bit of GW swag, too.

The second will host two of our designers -- I believe it's Ben Miller and Colin Johanson -- at the store in person. So you can meet two nice, smart and super fun members of the team, plus get them to sign your games or game books, get special pricing on anything Guild Wars, and pick up one of those free trial CDs, too.

Where's the east-coast love?

Do these guys happen to have anything to do with the new AI algorithms? :P

Having a chance to meet them in person sounds quite... interesting... for some in the community.

No, I don't think so. Well, unless you really love the AI, in which case, sure!

No, seriously, Ben and Colin work on game design. It's the programmers who will get that bug squashed and reset things to normal, don't you worry about that!

Is there any chance of anything similar in Europe? Specifically in the UK, and even more specificaly in the London area ;-)

Denmark is small, and we don't speak english by nature... Pay us a visit anyway :P

Maybe they don't want to travel all over the world and spend weeks away from home (and work). =)

Yeah, it sure would be nice if they had a chance to stop by other places as well
*cough* Florida *cough*. Maybe a World Tour is something to consider.

Anyways....if anybody goes, let us know how it was and don't forget to mention to them ALL of the user requests that ANet keep putting on the back burner.

yea really i want some east coast love too. anyway its pretty cool that Anet is even doing this so i guess its not that bad theres nothing on the east coast

Seriously! We were talking about that today, and we definitely need to get out to the East Coast once in a while. I'm totally game for us attending a gaming show or a fan convention or even just holding our own "get together for coffee" fan get together. Hmmm... I wonder if I can get the co-founders to agree to that one.
