not getting double XP reward while hunt is active.

ok so i just brought my ele over to nightfall, i go out of yohlon or whatever its called and get the insect hunt right outside. then i go kill insects... i get 12XP per kill, they are lvl 20 and i am lvl 20. wtf

so then i zone and go out and kill insects without the insect hunt, and i get 12 XP, get the hunt again, just to make sure it just got weird on me, and bam no extra xp...

i DO get the sunspear points, but it looks like the double xp reward of the hunt isnt working.

can anyone else see if this is happening to you?

I was over there lvl'ing my heros using xp scrolls. And getting the blessing for killing bugs at the same time. The only bonus I was getting was from the scroll. Also noticed that the double xp scrolls didn't seem to give double xp, the acted more like the 50% xp scrolls.

hmm, well i wasnt even using any scrolls and i wasnt getting the double xp.
i wonder if its a bug.

Which is unfortunate, since this seems like something that would be easy to fix. Is there any chance this problem can be forwarded to the developers? Maybe if Gaile Gray stops by this thread? (I checked this again after today's new build and it is STILL broken)

Yup, i dont think ive noticed double exp. have to find some screenshots though.

No, no double XP here too. I get the Sunspear points, but the XP is the same as without the blessing.

I submitted a bug report to PlayNC about this yesterday. I wish I had done it weeks ago when I first noticed the problem. I received the standard form-letter respose: I feel so unloved.

That explains it, it was nerfed or turned off. Probably to slow down people levelling to fast.

I'm not doubting that the bug exists, but have you checked in your hero panel to make sure that you actually are getting only 12xp? There's the small possibility that it only displays the default amount but does give you twice as much.

It is only giving regular for some reason since an update it hasn't returned to doulbe exp, maybe because of the possiblilty of easy farming for exp.

This is bugged, has been since launch I believe. At least for foreign characters.

People have mentioned it here before. I know I posted in the stickied "bugs" thread about it, too.

I haven't seen it fixed yet either. But glad to know someone has reported it directly to ANet now.
