Rally the Princes

I believe that's the mission I'm on now, where I have to do it solo. I think I have to do three of five things. I know I shouldn't take the drinking challenge, and as a Ritualist, I can't defeat the Champion. Does anyone have any suggestions? Do I have to fight the Champion?

The only reason I'm on my Ritualist is because I'm duoing with a Ranger friend. My Paragon had no problem doing this mission.

The mission is the Orchird.

The Drinking Challenge is the quickest and easiest challenge besides the dancing with the kids one...SO why shouldn't you do it again?

1) Dance with the little girl

2) Do the drinking challenge.

3) Do the Mime challenge (do the emote the mime does).

Though a Ritualist can easily do the other two challenges...so theres no reason not to get the master reward...no reason at all..

That "Champion" (from the reenactment part) can be wanded to death, or easily owned in 2 secs if you have any dmg spells.

I would really like to help, but... I don't know how to kill the guy buy your self as a rit( I don't know ANYTHING as a rit).

I did the drinking challenge with my Paragon and when the battle started I was killed, and a message said I should reconsider drinking before battle. hehe So that was why I thought I probably shouldn't do it. I will try it again, but my Ritualist did so well in Factions, and after the nerfs, I can still support a group, but I have to learn how to be more offensive. I need a good offensive build.

Oh, the Mime, I failed that one with my Paragon. I hadn't messed with emotes, so I didn't know what emote the Mime was emoting.

if your rit skills cant kill him you still got a secondary class
he is a necro with long cast spells so mesmer skills like power spike will kill him.
and dont forget:AI still casts with backfire on them^^

Have you tried using VwK?

I did it with Attuned Was Songkai, Spirit Rift, Ancestors' Rage and some other channeling skills. It can also probably be done quite easily with Pain, Bloodsong and whatever other attacking spirits you have (Shadowsong should help against the harpies).

It wasn't the champion that because the pest but the harpies following completion of talking to all of the princes, for me. I tried a lot of different builds, utliizing a lot of the secondary skills (my rit is a healer, what was I to do, heal them to death?)

Rt/Me worked well with a lot in Illusion/Domination.

Ultimately, I gave up, ran a Minion Bomber. Worked well. (took me about 9 tries and about 15k in buying possible skills to figure a solution). Although. wielding a fiery gladius as a rit is entertaining.

I did forget one point on there. On the Ritualist side of the skills, I went with Spawning and some in Restoration. Running around and using Vengeful weapon on the guard captain is how I took that one out.

The last couple of times I've had problems with the harpies because the Vabbian guards weren't moving off the initial dias (where you talk to the princes).

Eventually I had to lure a harpy all the way back to them to draw them off - reverse pulling, if you will.

Hm, I did this the first time with a me/r with almost no healing skills and was able to complete it masters on the first try......for a rit use some of the challening skills (like spirit rift, ancestors rage...) and pain and bloodsong....heal yourself with mend body and soul....should be easy with these.
And you dont have to be drunk to do the other parts.....you can finish the drinking and then do the others.......
