UW Farming [Duo] - New Approach

Hey, nice build, PM me in game if you want me to remove this post..

I still use a 55 and Necro build for UW, it works pretty nice.

Monk takes regular 55 Spells.

Necro takes:
Arcane Echo
Spoil Victor {E}
Sympathetic Visage
Ancestor's Visage
Ressurection Signet
Signet of Lost Souls
Vamparic Gaze
*Insdious Parasite* Optional.

Basically you take out Aatxes normally, echo 1 Spoil on 1 and the other Spoil on another.
Then when fighting the group of 4 Darknesses, 1 will run at you, vamp gaze him to death, if his hp is under half and you need a quick boost use Signet of Lost Souls.
When fighting Smites, from a 4 or 5 group, 1 or 2 will run at you, DONT stand still, run Vamp gaze, run Vamp gaze etc. until 1 is dead, repeat with other, then go finish off the 3 still attacking your monk :P. Spoil Victor is really nice, with smites you will need to cast Vamp gaze to finish them off since theyre hp doesnt quite drop.
I think its great because the monk has 55 health, the spell hits 105. So as long as they have over 56 health, they will always get hit 105.

for the warrior, use cleave and dismember (or u can try judge's insight instead of dismember)

@ Medical : You can't drop Deep Wound. It has to be there , it's the best way to deal damage. No other skill removes that much HP from targets in one hit. And why Warrior can't use Judge's Insight : It has a 2 second cast which is very slow for a fast hitting warrior. And refreshing it over and over, adding in the energy cost of Protective Spirit and Frenzy, is impossible.

@ Sergio Leone : Agonizing Chop from NF might be an option. It's definitely not Penetrating Chop but not many options for a replacement.

@ Josh Harrison : Don't remove your post. Please notice that this topic's name is New Approach. Me and Sapphire wanted to make people realize that we should be producing builds that kill enemies one by one now. Everyone is free to post what they come up with, I don't mind. It's just better to keep it real by producing them with the "one by one" principal. Every opinion is welcome. As for Spoil Victor I assume it's faster with Aatxes but not with Smiters. I've given it some thought before as well but Coldfires will be a major pain in the ass so I skipped it.

i tried with judge insight, and energy is very low but its enough
frenzy is on about 90% on the time, and judges... depends on how much monsters im tanking but the dammage on aatxes and nightmares is nothing to brag about, maybe 10 more dammage?

I tested with a friend and he took out is rebirth. I couln't test the smites (he had to leave) but at least ataxes dont take double dmg

+ can some1 confirm that is possible to take out in monk the watchfull and HB and put instead vigorous spirit? for my calculations it will work, but u never know..

If that happened, the monk coul take more stuff to increase dmg.

you could take out watchfull spirit and use judge's instead or vigorous spirit
only time u need hb is when u have a lot of monsters on you (3-4+) or when ure bleeding, i guess its up to you, try it

Is flail worth considering? I'm not sure what attribute it's in, but it seems very good for a tank.

And try this only if you have, Factions for AV + SV or A.Echo+SV. It'll be a little hardcore, but since U.Aura res's with full hp/ene W/Mo would have enough time to cast prot, and Monk for Mending. The rest will be ok.

you don't need to clean all the Behemoth guys...
but as you see, we nearly made our way to the Chaos Plains.

and for the monks, if you're safe and sound on the higher ground, wands with divine or healing attribute pays behemoths a great deal of dmg, and warrior only needs to interupt Healing Spring which's set by the behemoth next to the one you're trying to kill. it's boring though, thanks to whirling defense, but it's not a big deal.

...and we ended up dancing in chaos plains......then died by the hands of those nasty mesmers...

i wouldnt replace vengeance and rebirth, its a great combo for the w/mo if he dies when things go terribly wrong (2 nightmares pops or forgot to recast ps in the first few runs or monk not used to the build )

Peeps, make sure you check the first post (the guide) occasionally, I edit it as soon as I get new info, statistics, and useful stuff worth looking. Kryth i would like to go with you but the problem is that i can only go Saturday (Math exam Friday ) if u are interested my IGN is ACreator the silent (its my Sin ).

i can go with monk. Besides I would like to test another thing.

If vigorous spirit can replace watchfull spirit + HB. In theoty it works.

(3 aataxe do 15dmg while u gain 20Hp +2Hp for the remaining pip of regen that mending less bleeding)

the problem is with smites but if we agro 3 at a time it just might work and so give us another slot to increase dmg (soj is option if they dont scater, wich would make em atack less so vigorous spirit would work even better)

just theory though.

Even if u have little agro, the low recharge of both vigorous and frenzy will make it possible to just get in that extra heal from vigorous/frenzy when u need it.... but u would screw up at the trappers..

still it could be used in the most rentable part in UW
