Pick anyone you want, you will end up in the Kodash Bazaar to get vabbi armor anyways after their respective missions.

Thanks for the comments, but I don't mind hard quests. I just have Olias setup as a MM already, but if I were to pick MoW then I would only set him up as a SS necro. I don't have a ranger hero at the moment, and most likely would set her up as a trapper or an interrupt ranger. I know I will get both eventually.
I guess I will go with Magrid then. Thanks.

I find master of whispers to be some what stupid... he occasiaonally will decide to go and stand in the middle of trouble like he was a warrior and keep dieing, same goes for zhed shadowhoof.. there both stupid.
Magrid has been no trouble so far jin occasionally seems to have the need to go storming in to the middle of a battle also.

Actually, monks on guard is quite useful.
Power Drain/Leech Signet ftw.
Both excellent ineterrupts and excellent source of energy.

It depends on what profession is your given character. Both paths have fairly difficult missions, although Margrid's Vabbian mission is harder than MoW's. It also depends on your style of play, as mine can be different from yours.
If your character is a ranger, I would say MoW. Otherwise, take Margrid and make her an interrupter, at least until you decide to get Norgu.

I was in the exact same situation. And I picked Margrid. I do not regret that. But that first Mission, while cool (has a lot of Star Wars references if you take Zhed, and it takes place in a cool-looking city), is sort of difficult because the last boss kills one of the NPC chicks you are defending. The answer to this is to fill Margrid up with interupts, broad-head arrow, and possibly also mesmer interupts, and target that friggin Elementalist Boss. Or first target the priest. And have a hero monk life-bond the NPC chick.

MoW is not that bad...its another MM hero....or SS...
either way...is it possible to have margrid late in the game???
it is critical that i know this...please someone tell me
If you have chosen MoW then you won't be able to get Margrid until you have completed the game.

TBH Olias as MM and Master as Curses/interrupt (Barbs, Mark of Pain, SS, Reckless, Insidious, Sig of Lost Souls) is my chosen setup for regular questing and missions. MoW's curses are a quiet affair but very deadly.
Power Drain and Leech Signet on Master and Dunkoro are all the interrupts I ever need for a regular run. To put their interrupt abilities into perspective, these guys along with Daeman made Kuunavang a joke when I ran that mission.

your heroes have 3 different modes: attack (red sword icon), guard (green shield icon) and passive (white dove icon). set your healers on passive if you want them not to attack and to stop making such a nuisance of themselves.
