Animate Bone Minions (against bosses or melee mobs) or Animate Bone Fiends (against melee mobs only)
Edge of Extinction
Icy Veins (against melee mobs only)
Rotting Flesh (against melee mobs only, to soften them up for EoE)

Think of the possibilities.

If the boss does PBAoE damage, of course, the whole thing is vastly easier. On the other hand, it may not work so well if he happens to be running Chilblains, not that a self-poisoning boss is all that hard to kill anyway ...

As for where the corpses come from, I guess I need to spell that out in small words ... It is now possible to take heroes or henchies with you, and only have to share the cash drops with them, while the item drops are all yours. There is another thread in the forum that talks about that.

The goal is to have a number of Death Novas firing off pretty much all at once.

That's why I think it has potential to spike bosses.

Besides, hurting minions can be a good thing as much as it is a drawback.

The basic idea is to stop healing them when they're degenning fairly quickly, spam Death Nova on as many as you can, and Taste of Death one or two of them to get the bomb off. Maybe deliberately set off one Death Nova early for the extra poison degen.

Actually, one limitation is how many Death Novas and Icy Veins you can get off in a 30 second window -- or 36 seconds with an enchantment extending mod. (Note -- the enchantment extension is only important for the first 6 seconds of enchantment casting or so. There's plenty of time to switch to a +energy/-regen set, if for some reason you cast yourself dry.)

if you want troll unquent you will have to have soul reap, death magic, wilder survival+beast ( will have to be 2 superior runes or also very small atr points)

i still don't think this idea is good for farming compared to many other and quicker ways. here you have to: go out kill heroes and survive yourself, make minions, get to boss ( need run skills if it ain't a just outside town boss) then Death nova them, then try to get the death novas off at the right place.

at a warrior farm it is just: out, run to boss, kill nearby monks (theese could be a problem as your minions won't run to far to a backline monk), and then kill boss, a/e silver armor is even faster so for green farm i think this build is doomed
