If you had the power to change something in GW, what would you do?

I would add an auction house.
Get rid of heros. Yeah, they're better than henchies, but have virtually brought about the death of PUGs, which really kills the Multi-player aspect of the game. (Sadly, this comes just as they produce a campaign that requires people to go outside the cookie-cutter box to succeed at the various missions!)
Barring that - make all PvP (except the 1v1) areas "Hero Free." It's a PLAYER vs. PLAYER, and should stay that way.

In real life, my kids gave me an extensive wish list for Christmas that included everything they wanted. This ensured that whatever my budget allowed that year, they would get things they wanted.
What they didn't put on their lists, were things they knew I would or could never buy for them.
So in line with that, I would like if possible:
armor storage
dye storage (could be added to Materials Storage)
rune storage

chapter one is notorious for this... chapter 2 they made it somewhat better by using cardboard apartment houses to create paths... chapter 3 is pretty good with this though- there are so much less pathing issues

Two things:
- Possibility to 'sign up' for missions and optional bonus/masters with possibility to state the build you want to use.
You can then play some more and get a message when a team is formed, which you can then join.
No more "<profession/build> lfp mission/bonus/masters" while waiting for ages because all others have the same problem and are therefore henching/hero-ing the missions.
PuG ftw.
- Some kind of auction would be nice.
Let A-net charge some commission (like 5% buyer, 5% seller), to keep economy going.
Less "W T S / W T B /Buying / Selling <item name>" in local chat
For the quick buy/sell, you could still use the trade channel.

the biggest single issue i have is the lack of guild options so here are some things I would implement
Custom leader/officer/member titles
Ability to have more than one leader so you can have a "Council" instead of a dictatorship
Guild Storage for donating items and money towards guild members

I'd like to be able to use a hue saturation slide to adjust mixed dye color after you have the requisite cyan, magenta and yellow dyes. You should be able to get any color imaginable from those 3 colors. Then add a texture slide to adjust from coarse to glossy.
I'd like to add a /kick /add emote. If you have one problem/ignorant player in your group, everyone could type /kick username to kick that player and add a replacement henchie by typing /add hench_name.
