Another Build by pinoy474 (Plz Critique/Improve and Rate on 1 - 10)

This build works, but I don't know how effective/useful it would be.

Warrior/Mesmer
Level: 20

Axe Mastery: 16 (12+4)
Tactics: 12

- Eviscerate [Elite] (Axe Mastery)
- Axe Rake (Axe Mastery)
- Axe Twist (Axe Mastery)
- Epidemic (Mesmer other)
- Frenzy (Warrior other)
- Sprint (Strength)
- Healing Signet (Tactics)
- Resurrection Signet ()

Stragety:
Your goal is to inflict deepwound / cripple / weakness on the target foe and all the allies adjacent to that target foe.

Hit Sprint and rush in to the target foe that is centered around his/her allies. As soon as u engauge the center target, hit Frenzy and start building up your adrenaline. When you have enough adrenaline, hit Eviscerate > Axe Rake > Axe Twist to inflict deepwound / cripple / weakness on the target foe. Immediately after, cast Epidemic on center target to spread the three conditions to all foes that are adjacent to center target. Rinse and Repeat.

Use Sprint as a cancel stance when ur taking damage.
Use Healing Signet to heal yourself.
Use Resurrection Signet to resurrect your dead allies.

This is for PvP right? If not then you probably need to rethink this build quite a bit.

Anyway, I'd drop the Weakness skill forExecutioners Strike so you have more spike potential. Weakness doesn't have much effect unless you use it on a Warrior, but Warriors aren't usually near other party members, making Epidemic a wasted slot.

I think a zealous weapon might be required, as Frenzy, Sprint, and Epidemic are all eating up your energy. I suppose it depends on how frequently you use Epidemic.

Anyway all your other skills are standard (Eviscerate, Frenzy, Sprint, Healing Signet, Resurrection Signet).

I rate it 6 1/2 out of 10

Frenzy/Rush instead of Frenzy/Sprint.

15e on a Warrior is pretty hard.

6/10 for creativity, 3/10 for functionability.

Very closely resembles a ViM farming build, or ViMWay. Without the ViM.

Not really original.

If it's PvP, good luck getting your foes close enough together for Epidemic to work. If it's RA, it'll only work against 3 coordinated warriors (Which never happens) If it's HA, no one has that many Wars/Melee, if it's GvG, the conditions will be removed immediately.

All I could recommend is dropping Frenzy for Victory is Mine, and switching Evisc for Dismember, and using it for farming.

It could work for some farming places, I guess. Generic PvE, maybe, but there's better builds.

It's nice to see Axe Twist actually used.

When I first started pvping, I ran axe twist.

It used to be 15 energy, and 2 or 3 seconds cast time, with a smaller AoE. And I used it on a ranger back then...

Actually, while Deep wound is incredibly scary in a spike, what's even scarier are builds with cleave and deep wound is getting spammed on everybody. In a degen build, constantly wacking people with -100 health (or whatever, it varies) and keeping a stack of conditions on someone is insane. see: LaG's build. (I know you play in the early hours Lightning, so you haven't seen them play. their build is incredibly defensive and most of the pressure comes from teleporting cleave warriors--surprisingly, it's incredibly effective).

I think if we make it to the playoffs we're going to run something similar, I don't know. But I'll tell you one thing: epidemic won't be seen.

I guess you could swap:
Eviscerate with Dismember
and
Axe Twist with Cleave
to make it have "spike potential" I guess.

Swapping it to Dismember-Cleave makes it worse, in this build, IMO.

Evis > Cleave in spikes.

I think the point of your build isn't the best in PvP. The people will most likely be spread out, making Epidemic useless. It looks good on paper, but doesn't work out in reality.

If you want aoe cripple, run a dervish.

And yeah, swapping to dismember->cleave would be worse. It just works for lag because the build is designed around it, and shadow prison. Obviously they don't use cleave, because shadow prison ties up the elite slot.

ok people, for one this is a old build, tht goes way back to the ending of proph and beginning of factions (somewhere along those lines. so theres no need at all to get hiped up behind this! I mean come on wuts wrong with players today, its like no one is original ne more......so before u guys get all into a big discussion about this, look for a uild thts original, crazy, and out of this world b4 posting stupid builds such as this one! (No offense to the person tht came up with this, but seriously dude plz b original.)

Well the point is thatweekness is useless if not applied on a warrior, and usually warriors don't simply stand near other teammates Well the spread of deep wound would be a nice aoe, but a monk with exitinguish or a paragon with cautery signet would make it a "no problem". don't really like it soz
