punished for linking accounts

I have all 3 guild wars games so far.I have linked all my accounts which means i lose out.

by not linking i would have

prophecies-4 character slots 1 storage

factions-4 character slots 1 storage

nightfall-4 character slots 1 storage

12 character slots and 3 storge accounts

by linking them i have 9 charactor slots-due to bonus one from nightfall and one storage account.

If i wanted the 3 extra slot it would cost me another £15.

now i have 8 characters for pve which has access to only one storage account.with every release we will get 2-3 new char slots which means the storage will have to be used by more and more characters.

i now not only have to use my one storage account for everything ,dyes,weapons,material,runes,etc etc. but the new salvage items from weapons from nightfall.

so to the point.
ANET should offer people who link accounts an added storage page for the 50g fee.now we have materials we should get storange 1,2,3, materials.


add into the mix for a fight for space

special weekends which offer free masks,items,mini pets, and storage ends up on one of your characters which means logging in and out a few times.



so come on Anet were supporting you how about bigger storage for linked accounts.

No. Here's what you get for linking accounts:

Able to use skills from different expansions on one bar.
Able to have armor sets from different continents.
More titles possible.
Able to combine professions from different expansions.
Skill/item unlocks.

There are a lot more advantages to linking accounts than disadvantages, and I don't see the storage in-game as being one of them. Storage options are in need of improvement for all players regardless of how many Campaigns they own. Whether it bigger bags or a larger Vault or stack rate changes for some items.

It is true, if I'd kept all 3 campaigns separate, I would have more storage per character, but I would also be giving up the ability to transfer money and items to all my other characters as well as stockpiling crafting materials in one easy to view vault.

I think a big bottleneck right now is an inadequate player trade system. One on one trading is fine except it takes a long time, creates spam and due to the nature of the game is a very fractured market. A universal Trading Post/Barter Town where items could be placed on a timed auction would help things tremendously. I know I would have less stuff cluttering my bags and bank slots.

If you only see inventory and storage slos you should open your eyes.

Remember that storage is mainly a way to exchange items between your own characters, not a stash where you gather things an leave them there.

I have tons of trophies that I save to exchange in collectors for weapons for my heroes until I get my hands in some green on gold ones, but I still have free space enough to keep loot and alternate weapons and armor pieces.

I have half the storage filled with at least 3 dyes of each color to try color combinations before buying the dyes I want, but I still have enough free space to store the 'unknow use' items like tapestry, Zehtukah's stuff, the Preserved Iris Flower and such...

Runes, Upgrades, Sigils, etc... are not meant to be gathered there.

Some more room in the store would be fine, since we have more and more characters and we are getting more and more Event (like Dragon's Mask) that do not affect market, but we well deserve keeping them.
