Replay value of NF...

You guys are all trying to justify forced grind, rather than facing the fact that it was simply poor game design.
Where else in GW have you actually been forced to grind a title just to progress in the game? Until now, grinding was limited to people who wanted cash, now it's a required part of the game.
I only took one character through NF. Between Sunspear Points and Lightbringer Points, I can't justify doing it more than once.

guys, this was made so theres no chance you advance in the game being lower level then you should be, and get a chance to learn how to use the profession that you are using, since chances are iits a profession that you dont know yet, or you might be completely new to gw, etc.
this was done so you level up your heroes and learn how to use them before you go into more complicated areas
its not bad game design, its a forced way to level up yourself and heroes. also a way to make noobs less noobish when they are forced to learn some basics

Didn't find it a problem with Nightfall-native characters, but going from zero to General for And a Hero Will Lead Them is a huge pain for outside characters. It's basically impossible to make General just from quests... So yeah, I've resorted to that insect patch myself for a couple of hours.
...This doubles up with having to level up soon-to-be-mandatory heroes. I had to drag Koss up from L2 before the cemetery mission.

Anyways back on point, Nightfall is a big improvement to Factions in my opinion. People complain at the first sight of a little "grind". (I won't even call it that compared to FFXI, WoW and EQ2) So far quests are "grind", Factions are "grind", PvP is "grind" and missions are "grind." So tell me what isn't grind?

Maybe people want endgame greens as soon as they make a new char, as well as instant 15k/FoW. Wait, then they'd complain about the tedious process of making a new char, and coming up with a name. It's so hard and takes sooo long, and oh my god, what if a name is taken!? Nerf the guy who took my name plx. <_<
But seriously, I like NF, much more than that flaming pile named Factions. Been through it twice, currently on a third time. Haven't felt the slightest grind yet. Maybe people should try an MMORPG instead of this CORPG to see what grind is.

OMG. GW players these days think everything is a grind. Thank a-net that you don't have spend 2000 hours to get to max level.
Personally, I love Nightfall. I brang my ranger over from Tyria. I done quests and missions etc etc. and by the time i was up to "And A Hero Shall Lead Them" i was already rank 6 sunspear. I then "grinded" for about 1 hour just killing insects outside Yohlon and at the same time lvling my heroes.
Put up with it. If finshing the game only took a few hours to it would be a pretty lame game.

The quests reward you with sunspear points, and the wandering priests give you bounties as you do the quests. If you're smart about your playing and group the quests together and do all the ones that are in the same zone at once, and play smart about picking up bounties before you kill certain types of monsters, it doesn't take very long at all.

Likewise you can also play your factions characters with new NF-only skills in old maps like Fort Aspenwood.
Sounds like a lot of replay value to me. New content that makes old content feel more refreshing.
