we wont be killing charr, they aren't driven by titans anymore (gate of secrets) .
the continent will probably take an italian, french and spanish setting, from what secrets i obtained in the nightfall manual .
Although I'd be happy if they just made a new storyline (sequel) on any of the existing continents.

I wouldnt mind a viking/norwegian (sorry for the butchering of that name) theme maybe show you the northern lands. There arnt many more "themed" time periods left they hit the medieval/dark ages, early asia and africa... I could only see norse, native american or maybe maybe greco-roman. As to specific names Im not that good at names lol
Well, there's a very strong posibility of taking place in the north lands, but Im still wondering why people think north lands would only mean tundras and snow.Lets analyse Tryria....
First of all, there's a lot of reference in Tyria about things in the norht, gigants, the char and another pass through the shiverpeaks, so if chapt 4 is going to the north lands its not going to be a new continent, just north Tyria. This North lands will likely only have tundras and ice waaaaaay to the north, because they have tyrian swamps and the maguma just a lake away from it. so...trying to make my point clear. The Tyrian north lands will look more like North america, just going from jungles to plains, huge forests and finnally snow. all of this with the continuation of the shiverpeaks that will divide plains from forest.
so..no new continent, just north Tyria because it would be the same land mass...of course all of this IF chapt 4 is going north...I think its about time, we have only explored south.

Well if they are going to continue the game - and not create a whole new engine etc. It appears quite obvious that the onyl way forward is to South America - Incas, Aztecs etc.
The reason I think this is that all other majorly different, populated continents have really already been used.
Tyria is Southern Europe, Greece and parts of Africa like Israel, etc (look at symlarites of maps) Shiverpeaks=Alps Crystal Desert = Turkey etc. Set during times of the crusades etc. (Reference to White Mantle)
Cantha is Japan/Asia - That one i squite obvious
Elona is Africa - That too is quite obvious
Therefore the only continent left with a long history i.e. Pre-1500's is South America.
It makes sense as well - the Aztecs and Incas had very rich different cultures and the possibilities of the new characters could also work - i.e. Aztec Priest(sacrifices to gods etc)
I rest my case....

I'm hoping for a Latin/South American themed game. Aztec, Inca, Moche, stuff like that. I've always been fascinated by their art and cities. I'd also like to see something based on the Tasmanian Aborigines, that would be a great base for a fantasy story.
Honestly, I think the choices they've made so far are pretty obvious and overused. There are so many interesting cultures that people haven't touched on in games. How cool would a Hatian-themed Guild Wars be? Can you imagine the possibilities for new professions and skills? What about a pre-Christian Germanic theme, with barbarians and the like? Norse would also fit into this, but giving a broader range for possible cultures would give a better story. More ideas: Native American, Polynesian, Middle Eastern, or Indian.

They don't just have to work with continents, you know, there are tons of different cultures they could choose from. People say Tyria is European but there are plenty of European cultures that they haven't used. They could do a Spanish themed chapter, for example. And people say Cantha was Asia, but Russia is in Asia as well, and they didn't use any Russian themes. There are still a LOT of things they could do.
Im hoping for a mesoamerican chapter as well, there is a lot of cultural diversity, and its wouldnt be "primitive" in any way...I mean lets face it obsidian its already a big part of the game, and thats was the basic warfare material in most of mesoamerica. and I say most because the purepechans(west mexico) had metal weapons, like the Incas who had bronce haxes and clubs. Mayans have the most fascniating architecture from where to inspire...take the best of Aztecs, Mayans and Incas and you got one huge amount of lore and original content from where to work on....thats mesoamerica. Go norht and you get chichimecans, Cheyenes, sioux lots of diferent nomadic cultures to inspire. keep going norht..or east, you get iroqueses, missisipians, and way north Eskimos. Lots of potential lore material if you aks me.
Personally...I want my female warrior to be dresssed like an eagle knight with an obsidian sword. When it comes to landscapes not seen in GW you got tons of them..just thinking of Aztecs, with lake cities volcanoes and valleys, Mayans with cities in the jungle, with subteranean rivers thought to be gates to the underworld, The incas with their Sun empire of Gold. I definitevly want to see something like that in GW ^^ plus as mentioned, they have something from every continent except america.
Greco-roman, caltic, russian, its all stuff we have seen before I hope Anet goes for risk in originality and not safety in the already seen.
