A minor comment on the Varesh Mini Pet

I bought a Varesh Mini Pet without ever having seen one.

I thought it would be a good pet for my Dervish Character.

However, I was disapointed to see that she is not carrying a sythe,.
This is different than the Rurick and Shiro minis that both carry weapons, Rurik a Flaming Sword and Shiro two swords.

Personally, I think she would have looked better carrying a sythe. This is perhaps why Varesh has been trading for such a low price.

I realize this is a minor thing in the scheme of things, but I like the mini's. I do most of my exploring with heros and henchies and will usually take out a mini to add some entertainment to the mix. I just feel she would be more popular if she had her weapon. we do after all see her carrying it in most of the cut secens.

People don't wana mini people, they want mini monsters. That's why mini bone dragon is still the most sought-after pet.

Bone dragons still sell for over 100k+XXecto, whereas you can find a Kuunavang for less than 100k now.

anyhow I think it is more so that there is more supply and less demand.

definitely needs a scythe. Doesn't make any logical sense as to why ANET decided to leave it out for Varesh.

i will want a mini pet when it will do damage, even 1 damage is enough for me :

You bet, I wouldn't use "small" though... Feels more like "tiny"... :P

The tiny aspect is really what kills it for me... I really do hope they give her some height so we can actually tell what she looks like... A scythe would be nice, but still size matters in this case ;_;

I know Lady, I can't hardly tell it's Varesh until i have to zoom in close to see it. If the size were somewhere between Grey Giant than i think it would be worth some gold!

This set me off to giggling. I haven't seen Mini-Varesh, but this brings to mind the image of a small purple trafic cone sidling across the ground <_<

Not to mention the bone dragon just uber cool!

i think it's funny how the price fell from 100k+ectos to like 20k in one day.

i think as vareshes passed through more and more hands, more and more people were like "ughh she's so tiny!" and then went back into town and said "WTS mini varesh!!!!"

Honestly I am almost certain thats how it went... I had ONE interested the day of release as I tried to sell mine and after seeing it outside changed his mind. *sighs* I never could get rid of her and I don't ever have her out either >_< My whiptail is cuter!

The Varesh mini-pet seems to be a lot smaller than all the other pets. For a collector's edition pet... it is not up to snuff.

I think I've only let Mini Varesh out of the backpack twice, she looks like a little quality street chocolate... o.o


But yeh, definitely underwhelming (not that I care much tbh) and anyway, having a little woman following my toon around just weirds me out.

When i got my copy of the CE, one look at the varesh mini pet made me sold her ASAP on the day of release before the price fell to the floor.

And having a little man dosent?
