I haven't been following this thread much since I signed it, but here's a thought (sorry if it's been said already): make sure that the island is regularily updated with every new release.

As for what it should look like, I think it'd be neat if it had qualities of all the game's starter areas (presearing, sing jea, istan, whatever in chapter 4). And with new chapters they can add a new area to it.

It'd be nice especially when my friend decides to join Guild Wars but can't meet me in a certain place because she haven't travelled there or doesn't have the same campaign as I do. A PvE island allowing people from different campaigns to travel to FoW and UW would be really nice.

/sign if only for the FOW/UW and auction house aspect. Great idea cause i gotta admit i was thinking that the heros essentially make socializing unecessary which i dont care for cause i like poeple way more (even the asses)

But a word of warning tho, if an auction house/or a better way to trade isnt included with the Island, then be fore warned that trade spams will possibly too overwhleming for any sort of decent conversation.

This is why the following idea came about: SOME outposts will only be accessible if you have at least 1 Protector title/Grandmaster Cartographer/ or Rank 3. Because this is the PVE social hangout, and I dont want bots and people who get ran everywhere to be able to acccess it easily.

I agree as much as one can possibly agree. The ONLY thing that could use some work is the system I quoted. I don't have any good ideas on hand but if anet picks this up I'm sure they could figure something
