I'm most likely in the minority here, but i wasnt done with Factions when NF came out, i still had about 3 characters i wanted to finish when NF came out, and now all of a sudden i gotta get nearly every 1 of my characters (some still aren't finished) through NF, it took long enough to get them through factions, but i simply dont have the time anymore to rush em all through NF, i'm really dissapointed, not with NF, but the fact that the expansions (if you can call them that) come 6 months apart, that isnt long enough for me to become satisfied with 1 game and jump right to thenext eagerly, anyone else feel the same way?
Anyone lost interest in GW after NF was released?

Well for some people, the most enjoyment is getting their characters through each campaign and getting the skills (which you need to go through campagin to get) and items, so for you you find enjoyment somewhere else, but for me its in completing the PvE experience, and i did not have time for that in Factions or even Prophecies
1: The the new chapters are released 6 months apart from eachother (roughly).
2: No one forced you to purchase Nightfall.
3: No one forced you to get all your characters through Factions, nor Nightfall.
4: You don't like to rush, then don't.
5: You are entitled to your opinions, but it would be wise to try and get your facts right the first time, and further think through what you want to say.
For example, you could have said that "in your opinion" the chapters should be released further apart from eachother to give people a longer period of time to fully experience prior chapters and get their characters through these chapters... Now didn't that seem more thoughtful?
My suggestion, do NOT feel obligated to rush through these games. If you are that concerned about getting the latest GW chapter before they dissappear, then purchase it, but hold off on playing it until you are satisfied with your progress in the previous chapter(s). Do as you wish in these games and don't feel discouraged. Remember that its a game, you should be playing for YOUR enjoyment, at your pace, and at your porrogative. I hope that all makes sense!
Cheers!

Nightfall has strengthened my interest in Guild Wars because it's a great game, and it adds many improvements to the gameplay and story.
i have 12 pve toons [2 are mules]. so thats 1 of each profession. i havent gotten around to finishing all campaigns with all of my toons but i like that i have the option to play any campaign with any toon whenever things start to feel stagnant. so far, ive completed factions with 4 of my toons, prophecies with 2 and 0 with nf.
play at your own pace and im sure youll have much more fun

It's not Pay to Play so there is no real rush hun. Basically Factions was so rushed for me that I DID become very bored because I hated the idea of taking all my chars through it and for the most part refused to (got 2 chars and one halfway through but only cause I wanted the skills).
So NF has been a real pick-me-up and I am utterly enjoying it - but I must say that GW as a whole since being a newb has lost some of its spark for me. I guess I dont feel as if I am "learning" anymore and the challenge is lost for me - thats the only thing that bugs me -_-
Pace yourself though hun, you do not have to rush unless you want to!

Up until southern shiverpeaks chapter1 was kinda lame...desert was dull, ascalon and surrouning areas were boringgg, northern shiverpeaks was ok though the slightly dragged out missions/quests got old quick..RoF missions were near impossible to PuG half the time..
I liked chapter 1 but NF doesn't have that much of a challenge on its hands..as long as the areas are interesting but not over long with a good mix of mobs/loot its hands down the best.
