I'm playing my dervish on the side, while I play through the game with my Ranger. I've not progressed very far, but I've an idea of what kind of stragiety I want to play with my Dervish, and I need some input from more experienced Dervishes.
(Leaving Attributes blank, as I don't have all the skill points yet, and I'm unsure of the final distribution.)
1.) Vital Boon
2.) Aura of Thorns
3.) Heart of Holy Flame
4.) Mystic Sweep
5.) Pious Assault
6.) Imbue Health
7.) <switch>
8.) Rebirth Sig
Now, I really like the idea of using enchants for the before and after effects while fueling scythe attacks. The enchants are never on me long (one or two swipes with Mystic) before I pious them off to get the after effect. I'm planning on replacing Vital boon with dust cloak. Curious to see if anyone else has been using something similar? I'm also not sure what to put in the switch slot while I'm waiting to Cap Avatars. If it turns out I don't like imbue health, or I feel it's not adding anything to the team, then I'll probally switch it out for meditation.
Anyway, pick away. Any feedback at all is greatly appreciated.

Good Call.
A bit more polished...
1.) Aura of Thorns
2.) Heart of Holy Flame
3.) Dust Cloak
4.) Mystic Sweep
5.) Pious Assault
6.) Reapers Sweep
7.) Imbue Health <or> Meditation
8.) Rebirth Sig
Process: Pre-cast Aura of Thorns unless you need the cripple. Attack to get into range, then cast Heart of Holy Flame + Dust Cloak. Use Mystic Sweep and Reapers Sweep a few times, then Pious Assault x3. Reaper's sweep will allow you an attack skill while you finish off baddies or wait for your energy to set up for another assault. With a high enough mysticism, there shouldn't be too much of a downtime. Mobs don't latch on to you to much for the AoE, so you're not at too much of a disadvantage with the lack of armor. Imbue Health is a great heal spell, and allows you a bit of utility in helping the team, but it isn't for everyone and since it requires you to target a team mate, it means you lose track of your target foe on occasion. Meditation on the other hand is a self heal/Energy management skill, and while I'm not sure how effective it is yet, seems to fit into the skill bar well.

I actually like Reaper's Sweep and Wounding Strike equally. With Reaper's Sweep you get the extra damage and the chance for a deep wound. However, with Wounding Strike, if you have an enchantment on you, it is a guaranteed deep wound that is easily spammable on multiple targets, and when you dont, it is also easily spammable for bleeding. Also, I know it is alot of energy, but Chilling Victory has worked wonders for me. Yes, you have to have higher health than target foe, but, that's actually not much of a drawback at all. With it, I have hit for a total damage (on a single target) at its lowest point for about 100 damage on a 60AL target. At its high point (with good damage from Scythe attack normally meaning) I have hit for the upwards of 200dmg. Another attack I use alot is Twin Moon Sweep. It does great damage and ends one of those enchants for you and heals you in the process.
