Guild Wars not letting me log in

Hey all. I have just been upgrading my network and firewalls etc etc and all of a sudden Guild Wars will not load me in. It will start up and download updates but whenever I put in my account details it just says "Connecting" and the little Notice page doesnt load either. Is this my firewall or virus protector doing this? My internet is working fine.

It may be a possiblilty that there are ports blocked via your firewall. Try forwarding port 6112.

Good advice, another thing that you can do is go into the setup of your router (you didn't mention whether it had the built in firewall or not) and allow Guild Wars access throughh it. Some routers have tat optin and you have to enable it. Hope the 2 suggestions that we have given get you back into the game.

All fixed, i tried adding ports in, but it didnt help so I just reinstalled Guild Wars - all better :-)
