protector of ascalon title

there is a title that can be achieved by reaching lvl 20 in presearing ascalon, but i also foundout that enemy monsters can no longer lvl by you letting them kill you so this leaves you stranded at lvl 16 or 17 if done correctly, if anyone knows of any systems to reach lvl 20 in presearing post away

It was possible over the north wall by dying and getting rez on the shrine close to the door to level up the charr to kill them for exp, but since a particular update this has been made more difficult but not impossible.

A common trick employed is to keep killing charr over the northern wall w/o taking most of the other exp quest until they dont give anymore exp then go on to do all the quest to hit an extra level or two then proceed to kill yourself to the charr again and again until they level up to a point you can kill them for exp. Good luck trying.

Wow, never thought that would be true. But, then again, anyone can edit wiki and gwwiki....

although anyone can edit it, if this were to be thought false it would be deleted by admins, as far as i understood you couldnot lvl the enemy monsters anymore, anyone think otherwise???, if this does not work that is why i posted this thread, if you know of any repeatable quests ro other systems to get from lvl 16 to 20

True, I have never considered Wiki a reliable sourse of information.

Dont think there are any repeatable quest in presearing, at least not the last time i was there. As For leveling up the charr, its still possible. Just bloody time consuming.

On the other hand, there is a screenshot in the discussion section on wiki. However, that doesn't mean the screenshot is accurate/not photoshoped.

Also, I don't see why A.net would add this title in since technicially it is impossible to get it anymore.

There is another thread here in the forums somewhere..can't remeber exactly..use the search feature to find it, there are a few screenies as well..FYI it's Defender of Ascalon not Protector..^^

since lvling up the char is still possible i will start the journy of this title in game, i will keep you updated in this thread so subscribe if you wish to see how it goes

Funny. I've been to that same page of Wiki so many times, and never seen that section with the "Legendary Defender of Ascalon" before. So if someone can present me a screenie(current) then I'll consider it a possibility.

But that's just my two cents

I wouldn't trust most of the people around here as reliable sources either. Particularly when there is already a discussion about this complete with screenshots on this board. That search function is just so hard to use.

Would be a very cool title...if it was real.

Would someone mind tell me why, if this title were real, it doesn't show up in the update logs?
I just looked through the updates for the year, on the Official Guild Wars site. It mentions the addition of the other titles, but no change recently has mentioned the addition of a new title. Since Guild Wars.com hasn't said anything, I think we can be assured this is most definitely a big joke.

I belive it is real. Who many screen shots do you wanna see? I know they can be fake, but I don't think they are.
