NPC's Won't Give Me Blessings!!!

Ok, I was searching the title tracks on guildwiki and found this quote under the sunspear title track:

"Note#2: Once a character hits the Castellan title, priests will not give that player blessings anymore. The only way to achieve Spearmashall as of now is to enter an area just before 7500 points and keep killing foes that can be resurrected by their monks. "

Now, I don't know how anyone else will feel about this if it's true, but I can say for me this made me very angry. Why would they do that? That's gotta be the most moronic thing I've ever seen. Give us a title track then stop us from getting it? WTF? It is true, a couple in StP (4 to be exact) have reached r9 Sunspear. Pictures etc in a few other topics.

The only evidence I have is that in another thread there is a screenshot of maxed level (and then some). I'm hoping they didn't use the 'let the baddies rez themselves' solution. They did, unfortuanatly.

BTW, did anyone happen to travel to the far eastern town in the poisonous area? There is an outpost waaaaay over there. I went there last night and there was a quest or 2 over there as well.

ok lenny. since you seem to want to be helpful, here's a tip. help. it's not going to spoil it for me. I have r6, both protector titles, both mapping titles; have almost 70% of Elona explored already and am 8/20 toward the protector with none of the island missions done. I'm coming up on the torment area now and will probably be done with the game including protector and mapping titles by tomorrow night.

I've since done the reading also but now there are a few ideas posted.

Hmm....the screenshot I saw was like 16k thats 250 kills above what's needed. Why would you waste your time with that? Just get a few points over for proof of concept. Anyway...I'm going to try to find a Spearmarshall tonight and test my leeching theory. So basically, the reason i see them getting over the max amount of points is to help their friends getting the title as well. If you were to get all four people together, you would find that the points probably scale progressively.

-- Why would they lie to you? it definetely does go faster with more people. i just got the title tonight using the rezing mobs in sulfurous wastes. did it by myself with 3 heroes and it took quite a while. since you need to be careful to not kill monks, i ended up just keeping the heroes on avoid combat to rez me when i ded (wurm mode). occasionally i used their locked on targetting to speed things up. with 4 players and 4 heroes to just sit there and rez when dead split up among 4 different mobs, it should go a lot faster.

btw, the dervish boss mob right outside the gates of desolation outpost works well for this as it spawns with at least 3 paragons with signet of return and a monk.

Arghhhhhh! I have been using a Canthan elementalist and can't get blessings. I am not even a level 2 lightbringer yet!!!!!!!!

Any ideas?? Talk to whisper's acolyte or something like that in the Chantry of Secrets, he'll give you some info and exp and maybe lightbringer's gaze, not sure. After that, the whisper informants will resume giving you bounties.

There is a Challenge Mission/Arena thing where they have records keeper that gives points after r8. I hit 7500 before I got there and now I have around 7,600. Which mission exactly? Dajkah Inlet?
