Time Zone Questions For The Mad King

Ok, so the mad King is arriving at Noon on the 31st October PST correct?

And then every three hours after? So 3pm PST, 6pm PST, 9pm PST?

So what is this for those of us that use GMT? I'm led to believe GMT=PST+8.

So the first sighting we get of the mad king is 8pm GMT on the 31st? Then 11pm?

If someone could explain exactly what times the Mad King will arrive in town for us GMT users id be grateful.

it is GMT -7 for the time so just add 7 to 12 and thats the time i think

that makes it 7pm, 10pm, 1am and so on and so forth.

So can anyone confirm whether its +7 or +8!

Ok, 12am is midnight....which midnight is that.

Midnight of Monday/Tuesday or Midnight on Tuesday/Wednesday.

This midnight is when it starts. (Monday/Tuesday)

There is another thread on here, where some UK people are saying it starts at 8am GMT (12am PST).

But if last year it started at midnight, then we will see. I'll stay awake tonight at midnight and see if the Mad King Appears.

So in finland it starts on 2 pm.

Does he show up more than once so I can get the item for each of my characters? (I didn't have the game last year, so I don't know what happened then)

He will s how up every 3 hours so if you have a char there every 3 hours all will get.

From reading the announcement through guildwars.com it wil lstart at 1201am pacific standard time which for me would be 301 Eastern standard time(GMT -4 hours)

No it cant start in Finland at 2pm.

If your 2 hours ahead, it will start at 2am if he first appears at midnight, or 10am if he first appears at 8am.

I wish someone from Anet can clear this up. There are more than just Americans to cater for.

So dont start quoting things as if you're answering the question.

We dont know how the servers are working. Are we getting the Mad King earlier than the Americans, starting at midnight like last year?

Or are we getting him at the same time, so 12.01am PST = 8.01am GMT.

So the Guild Wars site doesn't explain this to us. The two sides (US/Europe) are different, the servers are not linked. That way, we could have him at either time. We just need telling.

Even if 12:01 am PST would actually mean 12:01 am UTC/GMT in Europe, there is still 24 hours time (king come 8 times) to get a halloween item so if you really don't want to have event item for every character, just go to bed and get it in the morning.
