Spawning limit is eight, per group. So your best bet is to use a build that can tank eight of them at once, and not break a sweat.
Use a life bond/life barrier hero to keep the tank alive, and hide the monk where it can't get hit.
With those enchants maintained, the overspawning won't be an issue.
The best way to do this is use a hero that can do good area damage, but not TOO powerful.
The R/N build provided by Juicey (which he got from another player) works nicely, and I tested out if D/R can do the same, and with some damage output adjustments, it seems to work fine.
The idea is to slowly (but not too slowly) damage massess of enemy, continuously.

It is, and WHY the Spears don't disperse when deflection from WD is spamming them, I do not know.
I tried it out, and they didn't move an inch, so I kept it in the build. If I need them to get hit for my ene regen while I'm setting up the enchants, I disalble it temporary.

Scythe to Spear point gain ratio seems to be 10:9.
Meaning, 1 group of R/N can get 500/h from a group of Scythes, and 450/h from a group of Spears.
For sacrificing 10% gain, you are almost guarnteed a safe and easy farming.
That's why I perfer the Spears. |
