This is for those of us who have earned their Mini Pets through Birthdays or even by buying the CE editions of Factions and Nightfall. I suggest to curb the thievery and unwanted trading in Lions Arch and other towns, NC-Soft should make the Mini Pets un-tradeable. Doing this can give the players who actualy earned their pets a little respect, and it can curb the hacking of accounts to get the items from another player. I do know of a few members of my old guild that have had everything stolen from them when their ccoubts were broken into. By making Mini Pets untradeable the thieves will have one less reason to get into our accounts.
I know there will always be someone trying to find an easy way to make a buck, but this problemis now getting out of hand, so much so that I turn off the trade and local channels in certian towns and outposts due to the unwanted barrage of selling items.

Thank you for any feedback you can give,

With how much minipets can be worth, it's also giving people money they didn't earn.

Umm..no. I don't support this because I already sold my Mini Rurik B-day present and am currently bidding off my Varesh one. Also, Guild Wars accounts can be hard to hack unless there is a keylogger because they have to know your login email and password.

While we're at it, let's make Black Dye, Globs of Ectoplasm, and Obsidian Shards locked to the character they dropped for! Then nobody can ever get the cool things that they aren't lucky enough to get through the drop system. Isn't that wonderful? We should also ban the trade of all in-game materials and items, because, let's face it: if that person didn't get it by themselves, they just shouldn't have it at all!

Honestly... Where's the logic in that?

bit late for this one......but I'm against it anyways. They've been used to ameliorate trades with those who are a bit short on cash, and I had no problem with that.

/hell no

Some of us think mini pets are ultra crap so we sell them on

BTW we do "earn" these by either playing for a year+ or spending extra cash on the CE version..

Yeah, would've been a good idea if it was used from the start but a bit too late now.

good part of the market for people to 'play'...buy low sell high...quick profit for people who can spend the cash.

This is silly if you say that then why should we trade holiday items as well. They're technically useless crap but the candy cane weapons are fun to collect. The Mini-pet are the same. Useless but fun to collect.

aHHH.. If you don't like em trash em. I did. I hate the concept of giving somethign like that to someone that has NOT EARNED THEM. AS far as I am concerned they should be treated the same as /bonusitems No trade, no sell value, no transfer... Either keep it or trash it. if you want it back do /bonusitems again. Otherwise they are just a waste of space.
