"past" 55 monks post here

about a month befor i knew anything about the nf updates, i made a 55 monk. i had farmed off and on for the past times, got a black dye and an awesome axe, but now i cant do any of that. overall, i think i payed off all of my origonal investment as a 55. but now, i cant go any farther. not to rant, but THIS SUCKS. other 55 monks out there, post your feelings. try to keep the flaming and ranting to a minimum.

Well yeah, it does suck, but there will always be the 55 .

Point is, there will always be farming.

Quit whining and move on

My 55 still works fine. 10 minutes=~2k.

Meh, back on April 27th I made my 55 monk. Spent around 100k or so making it. Never paid off. That sucks.

Oh well, selling my CE mini will pay for my Paragon!

As one of the biggest abusers of 55hp monking, I can safely say I won't miss it. Nerfing this was a matter of 'when rather than 'if'.

where do you guys still farm???? tell me this stuff!!!

just do as I did. Make a 55 Mesmer and Solo Murrsont, Trolls, avacara, UW, and FoW. :P

O, glad i sold my 55 monk stuff a week ago........got boring.

55ing isn't dead...Just takes alot longer :\

Trolls outside droks.. got me 5k merching most stuff and 10k from a black dye....

55 is not dead... There's lots of places were people are still farming but are keeping it Hush Hush...

I decided to try a 55 build on my monk a while back it was pretty fun, over the months I have made alot of money, whether I am farming with her or just exploring with her, or just looking around places just for fun, I enjoyed it. It's not like the 55 monk is gone, there are still lots of things to do, just some things are gone. I have done solo UW smites plenty of times when I was bored but I am not mad that I wont be able to do them anymore. The game evolves, things change, and I personally do not mind the new updates.

So I wont make as much money as I was before. Doesnt really matter to me. I have all this money sitting in my storage I dont think I will ever spend. Farming with my 55 monk was fun sometimes just to pass the time and explore new challenges to see if I could do things others couldn't.

I am also not mad because there is new light. I enjoy UW trapping so I am kind of happy because now there will be more opportunities for me to find a trap group.

It's not like there arent other places to 55 farm anyway =P people will find them eventually and move on.

I'm a VwK rit, the old places still work, its jsut the ywork slower, safer, and more boring, pointless nerf, glad i saved some money for NF

I think the people that are fine with the nerf is because they have what they want and don't need to farm.

On the other hand I myself just needs one more armor to get and ill have what I want for all my characters and thats because I just want one pair of armor for all my characters. Hopefully I'll get enough money for my eles fissure armor but farming elona reach will not be very usefull anymore. :/

55 assassin is WAY more fun... less energy to work with

But yes, my 55 monk felt the wrath of the Sundering Delete Button of Fortitude today...
