Spiteful Spirit still not triggering AoE scatter?

After last night's update and the changes to monster AI, I was curious whether or not SS was finally hit by the nerf bat. I went out to the infamous Mountain Troll cave in Talus Chute to test my theory.

The result: the AoE damage from SS did not make the trolls scatter. After about 15 seconds I had a pile of a dozen or so dead trolls in front of me.

This means that SS might still be playable in PvE post-update.

Anybody have any conflicting reports? Other thoughts?

Edit: Maybe this thread should get moved to Riverside Inn? Would be more relevant there.

A whole armada of conflicting reports in the farming section of this board.

I did the same thing in Elona Reach. There was a pile of dead minotaurs, it did take a bit longer though. They scattered once then came back and died.
