Ok, thing like trolls and Vermin didn't need to be nerfed, cause everyone needs some form of income. But UW solo, did need nerfing, it's just silly to me that a place that is meant to be hard, can be done with only 2 people. Personaly I think that Anet should add another way of earning an income without that kind of farming.

I think its a very good thing, It should stop alot more Bots, which were getting so damn common and annoying and hopefully persaude people to farm less and quest more, i sure we all know of at least 1 person who just spends all there time farming who has missed out large chunks of missions, and have never bothered with the titan quests etc. Granted Money gain is kinda low on Gw but Questing in Factions and i imagine in Nf too increased somewhat so u can still afford 15k armour etc. And if ur really obsessed with wanting the deliberatly expensive FoW armour just deal with it, its not meant to be easy to get after all.

Well I got my moneys worth out of my Mesmer's Vengeful Echo build and, also I can still farm the Wajjun Bazaar reasonably well so not too bad. But I agree with Riotgear...someone will develop a new uber farming build...there are new skills after all. It's just a matter of time. There may be an ever better build available - just waiting to be found.

So yea, it's disappointing for now but it's not all that bad atm... If no new farming builds become available in the next 2-3 weeks I'll start to get a little disappointed!

Like I said early, Anet need to start giving good money from things other than soloing, like prize money for winning AB, or RA etc, or money for doing missions.

Lol I love it how people think its just the builds that have been nerfed.

ITS THE DROPS. You can make as many new builds as you want you still wont get any good drops.

I am glad Anet decided to refresh the game and make the beasts out there a little bit more intelligent.

I am not an fow farmer, however, and the areas I farm are uneffected by this change. (I have seen perhaps 1 or 2 critters run away to heal but that occurred before the update) It is just a matter of changing the farming fodder.

That said, noticed the update states that the critters will not run if they think their target is near death. One possible change for farming is the create farming builds that rely on increasing damage when health is below 50%

After hearing about this "nerf" I went to elona's reach and to farm some vermin. Nothing's changed. Just takes a bit longer. Really this update simply nerfed "bots." That's it real players will easily adapt to these changes.
