The END to Farming Melee based monsters...

Mebe the current affects are unintentional, but as it stands, they recognize low health on themselves, and run in attempt to heal... Funny how mindless beasts of the wild get so instinctual... lol!!

Farming bosses, still possible, just not the melee type ones.
As far as farming builds, we are now going to have to get MUCH more creative as the typical "hit me until you kill yourself" method is beyond nerfed, just plain destroyed.

So where do we go from here? If i go out and get a new sets of 15k armor for my new Paragon and Dervish, how am i going to remake that cash, build my savings back up, and have enough to buy 100's of new skills?

PvE, has just GREATLY changed just like the first big AoE update.
PvE commerce has just GREATLY changed.
Trade values will GREATLY change.
New salvage methods, item modifers, armor modifiers, and interface has just GREATLY changed the game's core game dynamics.

You can still farm Mino's at least, I was 55ing with my monk today. Just use SS instead of SoJ, and don't aggo more than 4 at a time. They run if there are more than 4 in your bubble taking damage. It's slower, but still possible.

The AI is still very predictable and exploitable. I'm currently trying to formulate something effective, but the basic jist is: If you pummel them with AOE early, then you're only gonna be facing 3 or so at a time for the rest of the fight. It is much easier to stay alive under that kind of pressure than staying alive while you're getting smacked around by 12 of them, and consequently, doesn't neccessitate as much reliance on pure invincibility.

Give it time. The AI is too dumb and there are too many skill possibilities for melee farming to get killed this easily. At the very least, there could be some very effective duo teams in the near future. I also hear using SS to kill things off works as well as ever.

tried UW, all aataxes ran away and they killed my SS companion :P

how will i ever get my fow armor now

This update is the biggest rubbish ever. They wanted to close down the botters and money making companies, well they succeeded. They succeeded in spoiling our fun too, gg. I wonder how people are supposed to get their FoW armors now? High end trading = impossible (inscriptions), farming = impossible. Oh wait, I am being dumb. They'll nerf it down to 5ecto per piece..

vermin farming is nerved to.
When u attack them they all run away and stay away for like 7 sec.
its still possible to do it but it takes mutch more time then before.

You have got to be kidding me...

I've seen a LOT of bad nerfs, but this is a bit far. How the hell are you suppossed to get FoW armor when you can't farm anything without an 8-man pug that more than likely is gonna die gruesomely before you reach the smites?

Caster enemies run like crazy from my warrior also. Kinda sucks.

Just that meleers were the easiest. FoW forest is still fine afaik.

You know, you could sue with a good lawyer... Taking fees for a product and then altering its contents after the deal could be considered almost fraudulent.

City of Heroes/City of Villains did the exact same thing...I'm going to need to remember to stop buying things from anyone associated with ncsoft.

the dev's still fail to realise that a majority of people playing their game are absolutely not intersted in pvp and have therefore absolutely nothing to do end game but contribute to the pve economy.

i guess they simply don't want our money. i certainly won't give them my USD50 for NF. seriously, USD50 for NF is stupid when i won't have any end game content to entertain myself with until chapter 4 comes out. i just rerolled my ranger and in one month finished both prophesies and tyria with protector's titles. what am i supposed to do after i complete the 20 elonian missions? twiddle my thumbs and turn pink?
