As you are probably finding out right about now, last night's update changed the creature AI so that now attackers flee once their HP gets below a certain point. Also, they stay far away until they have healed substantially, as well. This may or may not be limited to melee attackers, but I've checked Vermin, Mountain Trolls, and Shiro'ken and they are all affected. On the other hand, Ice Imps seem to behave more or less the same.
It goes without saying that farming just got a lot harder. I'm not even sure that Warriors will even be able to hold aggro at this point, which complicates all of PvE.
I'm going to go to bed and hope that this is just a nightmare I'm having.
