Cant Log in After server maintance

It has happened before the last time after the events, where if you had characters logged in the guild hall, you wont be able to access them or otherwise have a problem accessing the guild hall giving an error each time you do.

I was unlucky enough that all my characters are logged at the Guild Hall and cant access the game giving a err 07 each time i tried during the maintance. After the maintaince, now i get a err 40 everytime when its loading the guild hall. Basically i cant access the game and its frustrating, so i wont too be polite:

Seriously ANET WTF, fix this. Is this the kind of service we expect to see just days before NF release?

Anyone else having this problem?

Just logged onto a toon in GH, works fine for me.

i cant log into my ranger at LA and none of the others can travel to LA. i havent tried making any of them map elsewhere. one thing though, LA has only German 1 and Spanish 1 up it seems.

guildies in the american districts tell me they're not having any problems.

Similar problems, can't log into any characters that are currently in factions. I have one in GH that would leave into factions and I can't log into him either. Only character that I can get on is my ranger in LA, it is the only character currently in prophacies but I don't know if there is a connection to location and being able to connect. My account was originaly prophacies with factions added and I can only log into prophacies, anybody else fit this mold?

And I can go into ToA and Factions, but no PvP zones or other Tyrian outposts, such as Drok...

My account was prophecies first, and got factions added later. It seems I can get in random towns. I managed to get into: Heroes Audience, Kaineng Center, Ran Masu Gardens. Ofcourse I didnt try all, but I tried atleast 10..

Are you all Eu? make the situation abit easier, just say what server your on.

Hmm. I'm having troubles as well. Seems that I can only get to Missions or Cities, any outposts and I get [Code=40]

Seems my patter doesn't fit, I managed to acess a warrior in unwaking waters (luxon) but mapping caused a disconnect.

Im on EU Servers, have been trying for the last hour or so to connect. Cant connect at all with any of my characters, err code 40 on each attempt

Well its affecting both eu and am. Thought it was only Eu.

EU servers here. i can log into all my characters except my ranger at LA. i cannot map any character to LA either, matter of fact LA only displays 1 district now, German D1. it's been this way for nearly 4 hours now. and i still haven't heard anything from a.net except that 15 minute network maintenance advisory which was supposed to have happened 4 hours ago.

very annoying, very very annoying.

My Mesmer is stuck in Frost Gate 'cause I don't want him to get disconnected, and my Warrior can't log in at all.

Got a Necro, Warrior, Rit and Monk stuck on various places (err 40)
Can access some areas with my Ranger
Have a Mesmer who's currently under farmcode

About the same each time I tried to log in it would give me a error, closed and reloaded and everything worked fine.

this is absolutely rubbish, now 4/5 pve characetrs can't log in due to error 40. the only one i can log into is an ss necro at toa .... and we don't even have favour so im just twiddling my thumbs now ... wonder if i can get into pvp.

Okay we got it, there is a problem. Question is when does it get solved...

I can't get on my Necro, keep getting Error 40, I'm in European servers..
