Since W/Rt builds are pretty scarce, I decided to design one of my own, this is how its going to be:
Both fit for PvE and PvP
Armour: Gladiator
Swordsmanship 12+1+3
Strength 9+1
Restoration Magic 9
1. Tiger Stance
2. Galrath Slash
3. Silverwing Slash
4. Dragon Slash (elite)
5. "For Great Justice"
6. Weapon of Warding/Resilient Weapon
7. Generous Was Tsungrai
8. Enraging Charge (is a NF skill so now it is a res or sprint, this skill is very handy to get a little start in adrenaline)
Any ideas if such a build would work? It can deal a lot of damage fast and has decent heal/defence (IMO).
Feedback plz
An idea for W/Rt

I'd use Soothing Memories (well, actually i'd rather use Heal Sig instead) instead of GWT.

Just some ideas...don't know if it would work.
Warmongers Weapong + Ancestor's Rage (with say, Evicerate and Frenzy) to add extra pain to a spike and interupt casters.
Mend Body and Soul + Vengful Weapon (instead of tactics skills...ok...not worth it)
Consume Soul + Sword Build (to REALLY mess up enemy Rts...although a A/Rt with Consume Soul and spirit walk does this better, but would be far less durable)

Okay, first off, do you have a shield? If so, is it linked to Strength?
My suggestion to you is to drop Restoration Magic and put points into Tactics. The reason why is GWT sacs 10% of your life (if you are spiked, losing an additional 10% of max health is not good). Get a Healing Signet and Riposte. Only get a Hard Rez from your Ritualist.
Mend Body & Soul is weak compared to a Healing Signet. The condition removal only happens when you are near a spirit. Also, you can get a minor rune of Tactics, which would boost your skill level.
Hope this helps.

Didn't that have something to do with the fact that for a while Consume Corpse didn't actually require you to target a spirt? IIRC, all you had to do was touch yourself, and the closest spirit was destroyed.
Ok, well i am one of those few w/rt ppl. and this proffesion can actually be very good. this is the one that i use and i find it effective in pve, farming, and pvp. but it's not quite as good for pvp
Streangth: 9+2
Swords: 12+2
Communing: 10
armor: gladiators and beserkers work best.
Brutal Weapon
Tiger stance
Endure Pain
Dragon Slash (elite)
Galrath Slash
Sever Artery
"For Great Justice!"
Rez sig/sprint
(I know what im doin btw)

Sever but no Gash?
Sever is not entirely useless without gash. Everyone says it is and I am too stubborn to share that view. Sever is great for a background degen for your slashes, and it has a low adrenaline req so it can be fired right away.
Brutal weapon indeed adds more spice to your attacks, but the reason I took Rit was for the selfheal/defense. I am a big fan of the Galrath/Silverwing/Dragon combo as they can be spammed non-stop as long as you have FGJ on. The damage of these 3 skills without strength was allready satisfying and with 10 strengh it will only be better. When Nightfall comes I will have both speed boost + adrenalin boost in one skill, under Strength attribute which is most convenient for me

I'm sorry but that really is just stupid. You either bring Sever AND Gash or neither. Whats the point in fulfilling half of the req to inflict a deep wound on a target, lowering its health by 20% and not actually bothering? Until you can prove how a single rit skill can outdo the benefit of 20% less health on your target. Also why spam a skill that has no + damage on a target?

You lose +30/45 from your shield, maybe +30 from your sword, sacrifice health, how is any of this gonna benefit you in anyway? |
