How do you plan on starting nightfall?

I'll be bringing my characters to Elona, then create a paragon and a dervish.

New Ele first but will be making my way back to Tyria asap to buy/cap decent skills

I suppose I will then take my monk, warrior, Nec and ranger through

First I'll take my Ranger over to Kamadan to get the Gray Giant, and then station him there for the time being. Then I'll recreate my PvE Necro to play the game through the eyes of an Elonian character. His progress will pretty much lay the groundwork for what my other characters can expect when I take them through.

Then somewhere down the line, I'll finally get around to a Dervish and Paragon.

First take in my necro sicne i've finished the preview weekend. I'm up to date on story line as it is and i wanna poon Elona with my new Minion Buffs :P
Adding to that all the elites i'll have to cap and you get a good idea

After spending however long it takes to sell 1,000+ materials to the trader, I'm gonna bring my warrior over, beat it, then start a paragon.

Call me old fashioned but I believe a fresh campaign should be started with a level 1 char. Like many others I want to see the whole story unfold and will be starting with my Dervish called Circum Sizer.

I'm taking my monk through Nightfall first. I'll be going for 100% exploration and other maxable titles. Then it's NF green farming to get the most out of them while they're still insanely priced. After that it's female dervish FTW and getting her Obsidian armor if I like it enough.

I'll be creating a new character in Nightfall, either Monk or Mesmer, to play from the beginning to the end. After that, who knows? I don't plan my life (or games ) like that

1. Make a Ranger and beat Nightfall (All Quests, All land explored)
2. Bring my Necromancer over, beat Nightfall. (Skip quests)
3. Bring my Assassin over, beat Nightfall. (Skip quests)
4. Reroll my Warrior, if theres no new armor that covers his ugly face.

Almost forgot that i will need to sell my mats first who will rise in price dramaticly X3 just like with factions tanned hide squares were sooooo expensive i wished i had saved some up...

I haven't decided, but I'll probably do a little both. I loved playing a dervish during the preview, but I'd like to see some of the higher levels as well. So, I'm thinking I'll create a new char, play a little, and then take an existing toon over to explore. Who knows? I'm going to play it by ear.

Yea I think I'm going to bring my warrior over first too, so I can take advantage of the good farming while it lasts, especially greens.

Plus, my warrior was my first character I ever made, and was the first to go through factions, so only seems right to take him through Elona first.

In order:

Monk, Rit, War, Necro

Then I make a Dervish, get 15k armor if I like any of it, then I go back to pvp.

Will grind my characters through it: Necro, Ranger, Warrior, Monk, Mesmer, Assassin. I plan on getting 15k Elonian Assassin and maybe Mesmer armor too.

Then start a dervish and/or paragon and possibly getting 15k armor for them.

Okay more serious comment then last time:
I'll be making a Dervish first (I made a Paragon during the preview event). Maybe beat the game hopefully because it will be new so everybody else will be new to it as well, so that helps ... I haven't beat Factions yet. I don't have the motivation. And it's so damn repetetive.
So hopefully Nightfall is more entertaining, and hopefully I'll have my new comp in a couple weeks so I can learn to PvP as well.

Start with new Dervish and get the storyline.
Bring my Necro over to steamroll the whole thing.
Start a Mesmer.
Start the Warrior I had to kill for the character slot. Although I don't know if I'll start him in Elona, Cantha or Tyria.

I'll be doing the storyline with my good old monk first.
Due to mainly two reasons:

First is, once i'm done the dervish/paragon rush will have settled down a bit and people will slowly calm down and stop calling every dervish a noob. I'm quite sure that we will see a lot of dervish hate just like with the Assassins. With the same prejudices as well. 70 AL and most people know shit about mainting and managing enchantments which is a key element for a dervish to be efficient and survive. Anyways, most will chose their elite by looks, not by what it does. Leaving everyone with the "omz0r lol balthazar rofl" avatar while Avatars like Grenth will be hardly ever used.

Second, i plan on getting FOW for my dervish. But i won't be buying it blindly so i'll wait for someone else to buy it and brag about it with screenshots. I'll thank him and decide then.

Pseudo third reason: I'll play the material market for a while. Shortly after release a lot of common materials will skyrocket.

new character, of course. a dervish, no less. I'll probably be grouping with guildies and a couple heroes to fill the remaining slots.
