Since u can add skills to ur hero. Can your hero have its own pet? If so, can he cap a pet or does it come with a auto(like in pvp, wolf). It would be sweet if u can have ur 4 heroes with their own pets + ur pet fight with you.

Yeah, you can get a pet for your Hero's. Well you could in the preview event so I'm aking it for granted that you can in the full retail release.

In the preview I used my ranger hero to cap a flamingo. As soon as we went to town, and left again, the pet was gone. She wouldn't keep the pet capped.

yes that was a glitch with the herso durrin the event, anet even mentiond it. it will be fixed before release.... hopefully.

I'm sure they stated somewhere that your heroes wont be able to have pets...something about not being able to use charm animal... lemme look for the link.

Well that doesnt say that the limitations will be set for the retail release. It just says that those are the limitations for the preview event. And it doesnt say whether those limitations are due to bugs/time constraints or just something that they felt shouldnt be in for whatever reason.

That just means that for the pve event, the heros couldn't have pets. That doesn't mean that they won't be able to have pets.

I definitly know there will be at least four pets in my party when I'm on my ranger..

Yea I used my Ranger hero to cap a Pygmy Hippo but as soon as I zoned out and zoned back in it was gone. Hopefully it was just an even limitation.

Well there was a bug at one point in the preview that allowed your hero to cap as many pets as he liked without giving the old one away, there's a video circling around even on these forums where someone capped all those flamingos from the Flamingo Herding quest... too bad the pets disappeared when zoning.
