And what should it be?
I was thinking about a War/Ele who nukes with Metheor Shower and Mind Burn, I never tried this build, it would be awful but if anyone will ever be able to make it work, well, I came up with idea and posted first...

Doesn't anthem of flame affect the whole group though and not just the person that cast it?
If that's correct only one person would need to cast AoF and it should trigger burning on every attack using a skill for every barrager in the team for 10 seconds, which in a barrage team would probably equate to 10 seconds of constant burning.

I think it only applies for the first attack skill of each ally.
So yes it does apply to whole party, but will not apply to each attack within 10 seconds only the first attack. Also you can't stack conditions, only lengthen the time it applies.
One person dealing burning to one target is the same as 5 people all applying burning to the same target at the same time. You would have to co-ordinate the first barrage of each person to be spaced out evenly over 10 seconds (eg one every 2 seconds) to get 10 seconds of burning.
This may not be a problem if the Paragon was Mesmer secondary and was able to Echo chain the chant. This way the new chant would replace the old one and therefore the first subsequent barrage of each person applies again.
The skills to look out for are:
Go For The Eyes! -- increases allies chances of critical hit.
Find Their Weakness! -- critical hits of allies apply a deep wound.
Of course if the paragon was in a group of critical barrage assasins, they probably would not require the use of Go For The Eyes

Barrage Paras rock!
I just got back from tomb of primeval kings and it was the quickest run i ever did. my build looked something like this
-Barrage
bviously
-find their weakness: causes deep wound when critical hits deep wound is one of the best conditions in the game and gives you very quick kills.
-go for the eyes : causes more criticals (a lot more) and gives energy. the greatest skill to bring. even with only 12 in marksmanship i was putting out more damage than normal r/mo bps. not to mention it increases the damage of all allies...and i believe it included minions and pets
check this link out for additional info on increased damage:
http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...php?t=10079178
-fall back : good heal and run tactic. heals for roughly 96hp if moving the whole time (including pets and minions which is nice)
-sunspear rebirth : good sub for rebirth but can only use once
-charm animal : again obviously
-comfort animal : ''
-anthem of flame: this gave additional damage but did not work as well as i had hoped. only applied to "target" and not each arrow like the above shouts do and doesnt stack obviously...next time ill bring anthem of envy (giving more damage to higher hp enemy)
attributes were in marksmanship, leadership, and command,
It was a lot of fun... the only problem was finding a group... people ridiculing me for even being there for like 30min until i finally got a group... they did not regret it.

hows the energy management ?
i might go cap barrage with my paragon
http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/%22Go_for_the_Eyes%21%22
http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Critical_hit
going off these 2 pages, you probably giving them nearly 100% chanche to critical with every arrow :O

I'm not seeing the advantage to going P/R over R/P. The skills that would be useful to bring, "Go for the Eyes!", "Fall Back!", "Find Their Weakness!", are in Command, with the possible exception of Anthem of Flame in leadership, but you need 4 ranks for 2 seconds of burning and 12 ranks for 3 seconds, which isn't very healthy for your point spread.
If, however, the Paragon is there *primarily* to provide those effects, then spec'ing to bow req only, or even bringing a spear (sacrilege, I know, not using Barrage) it could be a pretty useful contribution to a B/P team.

i guess you could go R/p and it would be fine... some reasons i could think of..
1. energy management barrage+gfte+leadership=unlimited energy
2. higher armour (depending on situation of course)
3. ability to take leadership skills(burning refrain, anthem of flame, their of fire) and make command skills more effective with runes.
4, there is not really a need to have a ranger primary... the energy saving primary of paras is better in this case because of all the shouts. and you dont really need the 16 marksmanship as much because every hit is a critical.(it helps of course)

I could definately see being p/r and using barrage. Yet, I would think just a regular paragon w/o barrage being more effective. Counting on most of the rest of the group being b/p you would just have to spam anthems, chants, and stuff. This way you could focus more of your attributes into the anthems and chants to make them more effective. It also doesnt help that. like anryla said, barragers should be spamming barrage and this would be difficult at best to do.
