NOTE: not sure if this is the right place, but....
Today I went into town and picked up a copy of the Nightfall Pre-Release
Bonus Pack (English copy, from Game). I got home later on and tried to add the "Nightfall Bonus Key" but when I entered the code, it said I already had the rights (or something similar) granted by this code (which would be the character slots, and bonus weapons). I don't as far as I can tell, have never added Nightfall Pre-Release Bonus Pack key before. I DO have on my account this though: Guild Wars (American, bought from Wal-Mart), Guild Wars Game Of The Year edition (American, bought from Game Stop I think), Guild Wars Factions Pre Release something or other (American, bought from Best Buy) and finally Guild Wars Factions (American, from Best Buy). As far as I can tell, none of these give me the Nightfall items + ONE Character slot, so why would it say this? I'm guessing bug maybe, unless Anet stop you buying games in different "Zones" (btw I recently changed to the Europe server, if that could be relevant), which makes no sense to me. (BTW, I’m sure I was entering the correct code, correctly.)
Being annoyed at this I decided to send them an E-Mail (after briefly searching their "Database") through the built in support thing on the plaync support part, which then made me create an account. After I had done this, I wrote down the code for checking my question or w/e.
I just tried to check my account I had created earlier that day, but the website is denying its existence. I am 99% sure I wrote my E-Mail right the 10000000 times I had to write it, but yet after trying repeatedly it refuses to acknowledge it! My email address is pretty long, which I thought might be an issue, though if it was why would it let me enter it (also I seem to remember it denying my Emails existence before on a free trial for COH where i think i copy and pasted it from my account page, to the query page, which it still refused).
I have no idea what to do now, and I was hoping someone here might know, or someone from ANET would check this post out. (Sorry if it’s long winded or has errors, I'm tired and typing as fast as I can.)
NOTE: The screen which comes up after hit enter for the code is as follows:
The standard log in screen for GW with a rectangle in the middle divided into 3 boxes. One is of the far left showing a picture of a pre-searing building. The one to the right off that is headed: Add An Acess Key to an Excisting Account, and below that is empty. The bottom box says: You cannot add this Access Key to this Guild Wars account because you will already have the rights this key provides. Please click the "Cancel" button and create a new Guild Wars acount. THIS is follow by the key i typed in. In the bottom right hand corner there is a Cancel button, and a Green Add Key button. Think I should click Add Key button anyway?
