Items, Trading, and money

So I use to be one of those casual GW players until a few weeks ago. I learned how to farm alot of monsters and got my 15k armor and got into pvping etc.

Anyways could I get some help on what items ( like weapons ) are good and what I should look for in an item? I have a "Haven Rave Staff Of Warding" for example and it looks very good but I have no idea where to start the price at. So if anyone could help me out with making a profit off drops id appreciate it.

It's okay one of the admins will move your thread for questions.

Basically, look for Low requirements, max damage, for an attacking weapon, like axe/sword/bow etc, look for good dmg mod, 15^50 being the most valuable, followed by things like 15 -10AL etc.
Mods dont matter all that much if you have a good base weapon, but if it drops with mods on already, thats just a bonus ^^
For casting weapons, you want a low requirement, and hopefully a half casting time of x (20%) half skill recharge of x (20%) (x corrosponding with the requirement.

eg, req 8 Death Magic
energy +10
Half Casting time of Death magic skills (20%)
Half Skill recharge of death magic skills (20%)

That would be worth quite a lot if on a staff with a decent skin. You wil have to look in the price check forum at the threads at the top for a better guide, but there is the basics

Some times you get lucky and get a req 7 item which is max dmg, like i did with a celestial sword, which was also 15^50. I sold it for 500k clean (no mods on) i might have gotten more if i put 20/20 and +30hp on it, but those would have cost like 100k+ to buy.
