right now im in Arborstone explorable skill capping and stuff with henchmen.
most of them died and I have Gai & Karl with me alive and they WILL NOT resurrect the other dead henchmen. Gai used Flesh of My Flesh ONCE on Karl, but he wont res the others. What the hell is his problem? They need some damn tweaking because its pissing me off. Has been for a while now since this isnt the first time it has happened. They also wont run from churning earth and the Tyrian henchies wont get out of lava, they stand there and would burn up and die if you didnt move for them to follow...

The Tryrian NPCs follow you so you through the lava and if don't they will just burn up this is normal nothing wrong there.I don't about the Canthan ones this hasn't happened to me except in mission Danika didn't follow us and we did a 3rd time and got masters. There are other thread like this in Forum on the Henches.

You can hench everything. Maybe you cant do it with your classes but its not impossible. Map out and start again that happens alot in factions.

ok, Gai DID res Karl after doing the run to corpse-run away from corpse-run to corpse routine 10 times, skipped Lukas, then ressed Danika... then they all died because Danika had no idea we had 10 warden surrounding us while she tried to heal then res the rest in a shower of projectiles... Gai is also hands down the weakest henchman in the game.

If it's explorable, just die and party rezzes.

There's a bug in the hench AI, atleast I like to think it is even if Anet seems to have introduced it on purpose. A year ago, the henchies would randomly res any party member, meaning they'd res the warriors before the monks. With Factions the AI was brushed up, and they will now res party members with resurrection skills first. That means if Tai (and 4 other henchies) dies at location A, while you, Gai and Talon escape to location B (where Talon dies) Gai won't res anyone unless he can res Tai first.

I reported this to Anet several months ago.

in wajjun bazaar most of the hench stop at the material merchant. I usually have a hard time getting them away really! they are trying to run through the wall and the meterial merchant and the healers allways resurrect someone surrounded by others I allways resurrect healers last cause I have rebirth for teleport and they never run back and try resurrectin a while after

The henches have an order of priority when it comes to rezzing, and if they can't rez the highest-priority target (because it's out of range) they'll not rez at all.
The top priority rez is always the other healers: more than likely you had a dead monk outside your aggro circle range.

The annoying thing about ressing is that the warrior always wastes his rez signet for no reason.
Also the monks/rits try to raise at the same time wasting energy.

You can hench anything and almost everything. Might be harder depending on the class you are playing, but it is possible. Even in arborstone, was easier for me to get Master with henchies than finding a group that actually knows what to do. This was when I was using my Sin. And it was not a fluke, my roommate also used a full 7Hench team + his Sin and got Masters also.
