Farming: Survey

Well, my characters' profits have been in the gutter for some time now and I'd like to do a little survey on the forum, so...well, here.

1) About how much do you make on <any character> a day?

2) What are your favorite enemies to farm, and what for?

3) Do you have a 55 monk/necro?

4) Do you use real life money to buy GW money?

I'm just wondering, because, ever since they nerfed ettins, my Ranger has just enough to put [half a loaf of] bread on the table, and I think about some people I know who have FoW armor on all their characters, and think "Gee...hax!". I'm sure FoW and UW make a good amount of income, but Europe has been OWNING America in the HoH. /minirant

1) 35k daily.
2) Green farming, prefer not to name boss.
3) Yes, don't use it much.
4) Never.

1) depends how much I get to play on any given day. You can easily make 50-100k and much much more if you play alot of hours.
2) UW Smites and FoW Beach (solo Rit style)
3) Have both but neither get used anymore. The dual monk UW build is way faster if you want to go with a friend and the solo Rit is hands down the fastest. If you want to make easy money, make a Rit and find Dahnel's posts for Solo Rit builds. That will get you started. Secondly, switch your account to Europe if you don't have 2 accounts. I play early evening and America never has favor so I switched 1 account over. You can always play in International districts if you want to play missions/quests with friends.
4)NO. For one it's against the EULA and secondly it's way too easy to make money in game.

1. depends on luck, anti farm, and time. On a good weekend I can pull in 100k
2. nowadays, solo/duo factions boss farming for greens
3. no, but I have all the gear if I wanted to make one. I have buddies who do, and I can run the ss/sv for uw ecto farming
4. asking a farmer if he buys gold is like asking an eskimo if he'd like to buy ice

1. Not much, I get bored of farming easily. I could go solo UW with my 55 and get a few ectos but its sooo boring!
2. If I dont have much time, I'll do a few troll runs with my 55 monk and get about 1 - 1.5k per run (Keeping in mind that the tusks are worth 25g each if used propperly) or I'll do a Duo UW run with an SS. I've been dabbling in Duo monk UW farming too, which is a lot more fun. Spirit bond ftw!
3.I have a 55 monk. I do have a necro but i play MM mostly, its so much fun =D

1) 20-50k a day
2)Uw ecto runs, grind farming outside of maatu keep, vermin, arborstone.
3) I 55 monk UW, and arborstone but thats about it
4) nope course not

1) Depends on alot of stuff, so x-xxx plat a day i guess.

2) Minos, trolls, griffons, hydras, Uw (solo + 2 man), FoW (partys + beach/forest solo), Scraps (outside argury), wurms, sand elementals, grawl, tundra giants, Avicara, Mursaat + Jade thingys, Sand drakes, vermines, stone kirins, undergrowt, Dragon moss, Oni, Shiroken, Jade Brother hood, Wardens, Sometimes a bosses, + maybe more i cant remember.. >.<

Edit: Most is farmed for Merchable crap that sells for gold... Or then ectos/shards/greens depends.. Dont really have a favorite farm place.. Cus it can easyly be Borring to farm the same place too long.. But UW is pretty good cus i have some1 to talk with

3) <-- can see my chars there.. Most of em Can do the farm builds.. 55, 600, Echo Vwk.. Trap, Barrage, warrior farms, ss/sv and what ever would be needed ..

1) About how much do you make on <any character> a day?
Money wise? My R/Mo barrage farmer can make about 10k on a good day farming minotaurs. Faction wise? My Mo/Me boon healer can make about 10k on a good day during Random Arena.

2) What are your favorite enemies to farm, and what for?
Minotaurs, simply because they're the only ones I really know how to farm...

3) Do you have a 55 monk/necro?
I have a 55 monk. He doesn't have 55hp yet. Actually, I haven't finished making him. He's a lvl 7 Mo/W with full starter armor right now. Never really spent time into finishing him...

4) Do you use real life money to buy GW money?
I've never spent any RL money to buy in-game items/money in ANY game, let alone GW. It takes away all the fun of the game, as when you have everything, there's nothing to work towards.

If i deside to farm i can make anywhere from 10-40k

2) What are your favorite enemies to farm, and what for?
I like to farm hydras, trolls, minos, trolls, etc.

Yes, my primary char. Hes all that i farm with.

4) Do you use real life money to buy GW money?
NO!!!

-Spending real life money to puy gw money would be a sign of psychological poverty.

1) About how much do you make on <any character> a day?
I got 10 ectos today in only 5 runs(i play both chars extremely efficiently) so 60~65k is probably average unless i get lucky in green drops , though this run is not my favorite thing to do at all so boring and repititive , only signs of ectos make me keep doing it. One time I went 3 runs without any signs of ectos , I just quit going after dry runs like that and switch to my green hunting mode.

2) What are your favorite enemies to farm, and what for?
Shoot I aint afraid to tell you everyone I kill,and even how common the drops have been for me(duo farm all of them,except ghial since that mo/e or e/mo is so darn fast) scar eater(uncommon),jayne(jayne staff common)-vera(rare),everthorn(rare),temberr(rare),mossbeard (uncommon),sunreach(rare),kyril(common),arbor(comm on),strongroot(uncommon),woe spreader(common) , ghial(common). I also can do final assualt for rago's flamestaff(rare) and malinons shield(uncommon) among all the other crappy greens. And oro runs are fun brohn,drago,villnar,bortak,rago,malinon- last three dont always show up unfortunately for me haha. And sometimes I go in questless to grab some gordacs needles/bloodhooks etc.

of course only use him for 2 things now though sadly

Negative , no need I should do the opposite lol

1) Luck of the drop, a day could be anywhere from xk to xxxk. Those xxxk days are few and far between since I rarely far anymore.

2) Grawls and FoW spiders, I just like having lots of drop and killing stuff quickly.

3) I'd rather bathe in my own vomit.

Hmm...interesting. In past discussions I've found many people saying things such as "even farming isn't very useful...in a game like GW there's really no way to make good profit unless you buy with real money". Meh. I might as well do mine. I'm using my R/Me for this.

Grawl (anything), Ettins (runes), Hydras (golds, claws, and money)

No. Just no.

Bah. I haven't even SEEN America with the favor in weeks...and I've been on GW a LOT lately. Thusly, FoW and UW aren't an option for me. :\

1) I don't farm much but when I do I only farm to about 10k or so a day.

2) Well... I don't really enjoy farming (unless I'm experimenting with a new build [love the challenge] but I guess minos are fun to take down with my 55 SS necro. =/

3)Yes, I have a 55 necro (though I rarely 55 with him) and a lvl 10 55 monk atm

4) No. Never have, never will.

1.) depends on what mood im in and what char i use but 75k is a good rough estimate without gold drops.
2.)shiroken UW FoW NAP quarter are just a few spots
3.) i have 2 55 monks that switch between 55-105 and can go spirit bond have one that is also working on solo build for parts of warren. had 55 necro it was ok for a little while
4.) not on ur life never would or never will. it is just a game after all.

Depends on how I feel. Can make up to 15 ectos, a tonne of demonic remains and some golds. Possibility of about 150k (that includes the ectos) per day. Usually less than that though.

2) What are your favorite enemies to farm, and what for?

Smites, Aatxes and Terrorwebs. Trolls are ok sometimes.

3) Do you have a 55 monk/necro?

55hp monk with 21.5 million xp

4) Do you use real life money to buy GW money?

nope, wouldn't support the asian farming/scamming/sweatshop community.

1) Obviously depends on my luck. 100k a day is reasonable.

2) Grenths Footprint, Factions Bosses, UW/FoW on occasion. I've been making a killing in the Jade sea.

3) Yes but since I found the Vengeful Rit he see's very little action.

4) I would stop playing if I even considered as much

1 - Back when I played a bit more, I made about 20k a day. Now? Probably 1k a week due to lack of play.

2 - Underworld, most likely.

3 - Switched over to a Dual SB monk.

4 - Hell no.
