Farming Rumor....

Hello guys I just want to clarify some things and your feedback will be greatly appreciated. Anyway, its about a farming rumor that I have been hearing lately from other people about farming. The rumor says that if you have a lot of xp on your char say over 3 mil, you tend to not get any drops anymore (greens, golds and ectos) for you have been playing that character alot. So please before I delete my char to start over again, please (I know someone out there has a little bit of information about this) help me undertand if this is rumor is true or false. Thanks guys in advance.

Utter rubbish. Don't listen to it. I've got a necro with 3 million+ XP and she still gets gold/green drops like mad.

Same goes for my monk.

If you find that you're getting no drops then go do 2-3 missions. I've found that this instantly resets my farming code. I recommend doing the Shiro mission at the end of Factions. It should take 2-3 minutes tops and there are always groups waiting to do it.

*Note: the mission will take 2-3 minutes tops. Waiting through the cutscene for the newbie that hasn't finished factions... another 2-3 minutes.

21 million xp says it makes no difference

20 mil experience? i have like 1 mil and my friend thought i played a lot. jesus christ u play either too much, or for a long time

as for the rumor i havent herd anything about it but im sure that s not the way it works.

but the actual point of my post is; why are people so pissy when someone dose something better then them. he has 21 million xp thats insanely cool. no he dsent play to much and no we dont have to assume he boted it lets just be happy because of his achivement. ty.

No its definitely not botted. My drops are generally quite good.

Its certainly doable, I have 10 pve/pvp characters and my current main is a ranger nearing 5 million... and his acct is only 6 mos old (yeah, I have to work 40-50 hours every week too).
Note, it IS a lot less work to get skill hunter (3) when you already have all the skill points and enough cash
I do solo touch/wilderness/pet farming with him

so this char is 12 months old ??
21,166,055 divided by 356 days = 59,455k XP a day.... there are only so many quests...

Makosi just put more playtime into it, while playing efficiently in that time. They also have exactly twice my xp
